I think Spence stops Garcia, never got the impression that Danny has been terribly interested at welterweight. Danny doesn't have the tenacity Porter does. I think Spence makes a statement.

If Spence makes it a brawl he will stop Garcia but im starting to think he will fight smart, the Porter war could have taken alot out of him and he would be giving Garcia a big chance by brawling with him, I wouldnt rule Danny out in this one Spence is hittable

Garcia will land a counter left hook and put Spence down at some point. I give him a strong chance at winning.

IMO Swifty's power is MASSIVELY overrated. He's hit lot's of guys with that hook, flush on the chin, and they just kept coming.
Plus, his right is nothing to get excited about. He typically wins via TKO, not KO.

Spence can take a punch, and his defense is incredibly good. Plus he has several inches reach on Swifty, and Garcia throws a short, inside hook.

And don't forget, Spence is a southpaw, so Garcia's hook will be even less effective.

I don't think Garcia gets stopped, but I have a feeling that Spence Jr. might be the best WW he matches up with. Thurman and Porter were godawful matchups, but I think Spence Jr. will try to trade with Garcia, which I'd love to see. I don't think it's all that bad of a fight, though.

Weirdly enough, Garcia keeps it so close even with fights he should completely lose on paper. Thurman and Porter were close fights.

By the way, I think Garcia's chin is granite. Don't forget he took a massive, flush ass shot from prime Matthysse. That's iron right there. Also, IIRC, didn't get hurt once against Thurman and Porter.

I'm not giving a prediction just yet, but DSG hasn't fought in a minute and January is a quick turnaround for Spence after the 12 round fight. DSG is quite sophisticated no surprise if he wins imho. I can't see him winning a decision it be a TKO if anything.

Interesting fight. Danny is equally as durable as Porter. However, his tactics will remain the same as always. Be interesting to see whether he can counter Spence effectively. I would place Brook up there as one of the better counter punchers and he did pretty well Vs Spence before the eye injury. I would imagine this goes to another decision, but wouldn't count DSG out.

Lets be honest: Garcia is quite basic and just not good enough to beat world class welterweights.

Should just have Garcia/Abdukakhorov and the winner gets Spence Jr. That seems a no-brainer, but I don't think it'll go down like that.

Didn’t realise this was about them potentially fighting last year.

Still think it’s fitting for them matching up now though

Spence, why not fight Crawford...
This!

But it was to be expected. PBC vs Top Rank and all.

I reckon Spence is trying to take out the other big names that are less threat to secure himself as the A side against high risk Crawford.

Plus in these Covid times without crowds the money probably isn’t there for Spence to roll the dice against Crawford.

For me, I feel like it’s not an issue of money on Crawford’s side. He’d take the fight if there was a contract I think
