You can’t blame Lebron for that poor performance known damn well Delonte West was banging his mom. That shit will fuck up any mans head up going into a game. You think MJ could cope any better if he found himself in that same situation that Lebron was in in 2011?
It would've been interesting to see Jordan deal with the social media age given he struggled with 90's media.

I think it was mostly Dallas zone defense, LeBron's jumper dying and Wade starting off the series cooking.

In kayfabe Kukoc hit the game winner in the '94 playoffs against the Knicks and everyone including Scottie cried that he made such a great shot
We all know what a sinking feeling Pippen had when it went in. That was dumb of Pippen. They only had time for a catch and shoot and Pippen was not a catch and shoot type of players. I am surprised his reputation ever recovered from that.

The irony of this is that in that same season Pippen threw an in-bounds pass to Kukoc to hit a game-winner against Indiana

Also, I know Boston did in 07, but I think it was unreasonable to expect a team that was just assembled that summer to build chemistry right away and also win a championship in that same year.

Yep and Boston had a perfect lineup. You had Ray Allen a 3 point specialist, Paul Pierce the slasher and Kevin Garnet the traditional back to the basket big and rim protector. Oh and a traditional pass first PG and defender in Rondo.

Whereas Miami you had 2 players who were basically the same and Bosh a finesse stretch 4. Then you Carlos arroyo, Bobby and Chalmers alternating, literally alternating at PG all useless at anything but being spot up shooters.

That Miami offense was absolutely atrocious for the amount of talent people had on the floor people forget. Many games they would only score into the 80's and 90's. Compared to LeBron's offenses in Cleveland with Kyrie and Love which were arguably the best in history outside the Warriors.

Even then the Heat were up 15 points in the 4th with 7 min left in game 2

And up 9 with 11 minutes left in game 4

82 games and tons of practices are not enough to build chemistry?

The series needs more time about the other players on the team such as Horace, players who us casuals have no clue about.
Jordan isn't going to waste time in producing a miniseries about people who won't help him sell more shoes, which is really what his involvement in this is all about.

That Scott Burrell that Jordan seems to be mercilessly bullying all the time. What was that about? He seemed like a normal fella, not a strong personality, not a rival alpha male, but not a weak nerd type either.

If Jordan had producing rights, why did he have that left in? Made himself look a right horrible cunt.

I did a quick google and Burrell says he is mates with MJ and has no complaints about his behaviour back then. WTF? Jordan said he would deck him if he saw him come back next season.

Imagine Messi behaving like that to Jordi Alba or something

Yeah apparently he's well known for being a total cunt. I can't remember who, but I remember hearing some black celebrity - a comedian or a musician - buying a Jordan game jersey at an auction and then running into Jordan at some event and telling him about it, and Jordan being a total cunt about it. That recollection probably doesn't do the story justice eh.

:hat

In summary, Charmillionaire paid $7000 for a signed jersey at charity auction. Not long after was at a party by MJ and at one point Charmillionaire got introduced and was like "Oh I just paid $7000 for one of your signed jersey, can I get a pic?" MJ apparently was like "F No, I'm not taking any pics with no niggaz now" then went on to "tell you what, you give me $15,000 right now to me for a jersey and then I'll take a picture". Charmillionaire said he understands maybe he was out of line for asking or maybe Mike was just in a bad mood but was shocked at how badly MJ reacted.

Did you see the sports media (espn/fs1) reaction to Horace Grant calling him out? They all found a way to get upset at Grant about it. Grant is kind of a fucking moron, but at the very least he offered MJ to see him with the hands, and MJ never wanted to try getting rough with the fella. He wanna punch Kerr in the face though...

I finished it last week. Very good series. I disliked Jordan in the beginning but you have to admire his drive and determination as a sportsman. He sounded like a bit of a cunt to be around though with the bullying which I think stems from his teammates outside Pippen and maybe Rodman not being able to reach his standards.

ESPN are doing a similar series on Tom Brady now too which I'll also watch despite not liking American football.

Jordan was definitely wary of Rodman.

If Jordan was this true winner with exceptional high standards, then Rodman repeatedly fell short of even reasonable levels of commitment and MJ never seemed to confront him.

If you take someone like Roy Keane at Manchester United, there is nowhere way he would sit there and say nothing if Rio Ferdinand had gone AWOL and turned up at Wrestlemania.
