I hope they do release a documentary. The former world cruiserweight champ O'Neill Bell , was shot and killed whilst getting of a bus around about the same span of time when Emmanuel Augustus got shot alot of people have the two stories confused, and think August is the one who died. Thankfully Augustus is still alive.

Good old Leon Spinks had a self-destructive streak that makes the likes of Adrian Broner look like Choir boys.
He went on one big drug and prostitute fuelled party after his win over Ali and stayed partying for the rest of his career.
Trainer George Benton had someone placed outside his door make sure. He did not leave camp for his rematch with Ali. Leon would climb out through the window and be returning from the seedy clubs when everyone was waking up. People was raging at Andy Ruiz jr for not taking his rematch with AJ seriously. Andy is no competition to how Leon trained for his rematch with Ali.
He was once training at the Kronk when he totally disappeared. Manny Steward managed to track him down after a couple of weeks in a seedy motel. High on crack and in bed with Prostitutes.
He went through his money pretty quick. Post retirement suffered continously with Drug and Alchohol addiction problems. Ended up in low paged jobs from working as Mcdonalds to a Janitor.
"Neon" Leon got seduced by the "Neon" lights. He has lived such a roller coaster life that if someone made a movie about him. Nobody would believe it.
There is a movie title in there somewhere from "From Beating Ali to Working at Mcdonalds."

Sure why not you can have Vic Darchaniyan in the list if you want...For me this thread was just an excuse to post something on Manning Galloway. A fighter nobody followed when he was fighting and nobody remembers after he retired. I must be the only Manning Galloway fan out there lol.
Johnny Nelson deserves a mention. The nickname "The entertainer" must have been given out of irony.

Maybe we need a distintinction on 'ugly'.
(1) There is an Ugly and awkward style that is deliberately mastered and results in boring fights and is effective. But also a cure for insomnia.
(2) Then there is the second type of Ugly style that basically means the boxer is technically unrefined and flawed but it usually results in the boxer being involved in thrill a minute exciting fights.
I think the guys in the number one category if they were martial artists would be labelled as grandmasters. Their stylistic ugliness made them a nightmare for any opponent. And usually they got avoided because it was impossible to look good against them no matter the result.
