The tree outside GABBY'S room
He's talking shite. Luke does not become the best Jedi in no time at all, he trains from the first film, is feeble as fuck in terms of force powers and then trains for what is supposed to be a long time with Yoda in the second film. We see Luke use a Jedi mind trick for the first time in the third fucking film, and even then he is still learning and it doesn't work on someone as strong willed as Jabba.

Rey has literally never heard of Jedi mind tricks or even knows what a Jedi is, and just tries it out for the hell of it in film 1 and masters it straight away, and has become a top light saber fighter with no training and no background. We see Luke training with the saber in film one. The rest of his rant is partly right, but again...if Star Wars is just for kids and the older generation don't like it because they're not kids, then why did all Star Wars fans pretty much love Rogue One?
Rogue One did the best job out of any of the film's showing why Darth Vader should be feared.

Too little too late, the whole trilogy has been trash and they just now realize that they fucked up.
If true that is hilarious. It is impossible to know which spoilers/rumors are legit these days though.

Rey destroying the emperor would be the ultimate troll.. I can't see George Lucas saving this trilogy, but the secret skywalker bit sounds interesting

They really screwed up this trilogy

I just watched the first episode of the Mandalorian last night - good shit - restored my faith in the SW universe (although I will not pay to see Episode 9 - fuck that)
I’m the opposite. A glutton for punishment. Gonna see the movie with my best friend since the 4th grade and I don’t want to give more money to Disney..

These new movies should feel like grand operas but they’re so bad on every level. Gonna put my shit reaction stoned on live..

I have to say - I have been skeptical of the new star wars material, as most of it is shite, but after watching a couple episodes of it, The Mandalorian is really, really good.

Disney has not shied away from the graphic violence by the way, which I thought could be a possibility. In the first two episodes you see enemies getting cut in half, thrown off of sandcrawlers and stabbed with a knife. They haven't watered it down and are also paying respect to the lore of Mandalorians. Dave Filoni has done a great job in not shitting all over the canon.

I like how this show has more of a gritty feel to it, it reminds me of the original trilogy in that respect. It definitely has me interested.

I really fuck with episode 3. Basically this is exactly what star wars should be imo. reminds me of the best parts of the Extended Universe.

Glad he got the baby Yoda back. i'm wondering what the role is of the baby yoda. Lots of cool tech and lore from the EU in this episode.
