I'm still not convinced. Surely one of these charities would have let it slip they benefited?
I may be wrong, but when he is saying - "I do it to help people but I do not want praise for it, I don't want to be called a do-gooder." - on a stage in front of a load of fans I become cynical.
i can see his point about people doing it for themselves. I used to have to deal with these cunts who did various charity work and I'd sit on the fucking cash for almost a year. They just wanted the "props" (whatever that actually means).
Personally I dont like the charity sector as much as I used to and think he should have kept it as a fund for applications.

The charities involved may have signed non-disclosure agreements, this would work on both sides if Fury's intention was to give the cash without to much fanfare and if multiple charities are involved they may not want it publicised that they are recipients of some of those millions as people may assume they received all of it and it will affect the ability to fundraiser in the future.
Fury was asked at one if those 'evening with Tyson Fury' things during a fan Q&A I believe. So what do you expect him to say 'no comment'? That would arouse the cynics
My opinion is that he never should have brought it up publicly unless he was willing to state exactly how much and to which charities.
If you want to be an anonymous donor, then don't tell people what you are going to do.
If, as he seems to be, you are happy to receive the publicity then explain which charities and why. That way people will believe you, and you will publicise the people doing the good work.
For what it's worth however, I do think Fury is, for the most part, a good guy, with good intentions. He is just very changeable, and his word isn't particularly reliable.
He could have given it all away, I just find it odd that he was happy to bring it up all the time during the Wilder build up, but isn't happy to go into specifics.
I think he was mainly saying it as a result of people accusing him of cashing out against Wilder. It was a way of showing he didn't care about the money.
