'I don't like eating animals, particularly evil things like burgers and sausages.

'So I shall buy and eat plant products that look and taste like burgers and sausages.'

Those kind of veggies are funny fuckers.
There's supposed to be one of these new impossible burgers that 'bleeds'. I want no fuckin part no that, man. Actually makes me feel a bit sick thinking about it, ffs.

There's different types of veggies/vegans though. I just never ate meat, from childhood, so i'm not massively keen on the meat substitutes (except Quorn which is GOAT) but for the 'moral veggies' i can see why they'd like the fake meats.

Lewis and Novak etc are just producers...they get one mention each and that’s it.

Aside from his fashion sense and race baiting lewis is a cool lad. Always happy to wear the flag

But not pay taxes to the society that produced him. The cunt can fuck off.

I've been veggie for nearly 4 years, would recommend. All the reasons I switched are covered in Gamechangers. At last i have a place to send people who are like 'why are you veggie? I couldnt live without steak. I couldnt live without bacon sandwiches. Dont you miss it?' Instead of having the same inane conversation I can just say watch this, see if it inspires you to give up meat for a month and feel the benefits.

I laugh at parts when they talk about how oxes and gorillas don't eat meat but are still super strong. WTF do I care what an animal with completely different biology does? Eagles eat meat and they can fucking fly.

Over three and a half hours long.

No chance I'm watching the whole thing. Anyone want to take it in shifts?

20 minutes in and Wilks is yelling over people and splitting hairs over the exact wording of a quote about dairy causing cancer. Mind numbing bullshit.

I watched it. Wilks starts off a bit too aggressive, but once he settles in he dominates that acupuncturist or whatever he is. This is the problem with Joe Rogan, he gets people in to talk about things they don’t have expertise in.
That video is a big win for the Vegan side of the debate. He could have been pushed about some of the things he said but Kresser just wasn’t up to the task.

His point about the quotes was actually very important, Rogan didn’t get it and most viewers wouldn’t. Anybody involved with academia or anybody who understands what quotes really indicate would get it. Kresser conflated numbers and put quotations around his creation in the context of talking about a study. That indicated that it was a direct quote from the study. I can’t believe this Kresser guy has an education of any sort, considering he didn’t understand that (and doesn’t know how to interpret a forest plot). If you don’t know what the data means then you’re just going by the wording of a conclusion (research is often very biased, and misrepresent their own results in their conclusion). That was an absolute disaster for Kresser.

Oh I understood the point he was trying to make, but it was belaboured beyond the point of ridiculousness after just a few minutes.

I did read that the vegan came off a whole lot better by the end of it, but fucked if I'm sitting through almost four hours of that.
