Canelo is a very polarizing figure. Any close competitive fight he has, he’ll have his haters scream robbery. It comes with the territory when you’re the p4p king I suppose. They’ve all been through it: Floyd, Manny, Oscar, Chavez, Leonard, etc..

He just knew GGG was too good for him, and would only fight him by blatantly impeding him.
Then by the time they fought, Oscar/GBP and the WBC made sure he'd never lose.
