If it gets made it will be a great proving ground for both young bucks.

I’m a fan of both and not sure I want to see either of them take an L though.

Don’t know who I’d favour but with Haney’s superior 772” reach (as listed on boxrec) if he stays disciplined he should be able to box himself to a decision and keep Garcia off him

Garcia is not that good, and I can see him losing to Haney. BTW, when was the last time we saw two bluechip prospects fight? Last one I remember was Vences/De Leon. These fights are really rare.

That’s what I was thinking as well. I can’t think of the last time two hot prospects that are this young and on their way up squared off together.

Seems they both want it but wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t come to for a few years

I don’t know as much about Garcia but I really like Haney. Seems like he’s got a good head on his shoulders and a good team around him. Not rushing him along
