FURY SAYS HAYE BOUT WILL BE IRELAND V ENGLAND BATTLE

Irish descendant Tyson Fury has told WBN that he will be representing his forefathers when the 21-0 fighter takes to the ring against former WBA title holder David Haye in a blockbuster clash in the autumn.

The 25 year-old, who claimed the Irish heavyweight title when defeating Martin Rogan in five rounds a year ago, now wants to promote the impeding fight with Haye as an Ireland v England spectacle, rather than an all-British encounter.

"I will be fighting for Ireland against David Haye and for every Irish born or Irish descendant in the world," Fury told World Boxing News.

"I am bringing the big guns out for Haye and want to meet him head on to see who wins this war. Let's have it Mr. Haye!"

Yeah, Id say he'll be sparked inside 3.
I don't know man. Haye is usually a bit timid and gun shy against bigger fighters.

If Fury fights a tactical fight, like he did against Johnson, i could see this easily going to the cards.

Fury has gone into full-on mentalist mode on Twitter. Coming out with all kinds of random crap. In one, he said he forgives everyone, even his haters, and asked for forgiveness back "for I have wronged u all." Then starts going on at David Cameron about the high price of petrol.

Fury is no more an Irishman than I am a fucking Chinaman.

Reading his twitter, it looks like he's pissed and swallowed a bible and a self-help book. If he fights Haye then he'll be completely destroyed. I'd bet everything I own on it. I wouldn't mind seeing Haye get bashed up like he bashed up Cunningham but it's just not happening, Tyson is made for David.

Fury should have taken the 50% form the beginning (if he really wants to fight Haye) what the fuck did he think 50% against Haye is much more than he could have hoped for

Fury is twitter gold.

Was saying he is representing Ireland against the UK vs Haye then later saying "he took it back, is fighting for everyone as we are all gods children" (or words to that effect).

Later said he was bored of nothing but boxing talk, wanted to talk politics. Started on the price of fuel.

He is truly wonderful.:smile

Are you spastic?

Haye was the only one who was asking for more than 50%. First they proposed Fury to receive 30, then 40 and finally 50%. Both parties acknowledged negotiations went fine, which made it all the more odd than Haye went quiet when it came to signing.

Haye was calling Fury's bluff, he/his team did not expect Fury to take the fight. Despite what many say on here, Fury is a hell of a fight to take after a prolonged layoff.

30 or 40% is what Fury should expect but they give him 50% your eally think Haye is ducking Furx? Because of what Haye would make huge money and should be able to stop Fury who got dropped by Cunningham Haye has the maybe the bes overhand right in the HW division right now and guess which punch drops Fury in every other fight Haye has absolutely no reason to duck Fury or else he would have agreed to fight Charr many weeks ago he is waiting for the Fury fight . Fury has a history of calling out boxers and then ducking them you have to really hate Haye if you think he has any reason to duck Fury

You're the one using the word 'ducking' not me.

The Fury camp seem quite confident that they've got the documentation to prove 50% was agreed and Haye went quiet when it was all set to be signed. Haye's reasons for going quiet wouldn't have to be as a consequence of 'ducking, it's a fact Fury is now well down the pecking order in terms of being a mandatory to Klit as a result of him turning down the Pulev fight in favour of a scrap with Haye.

Haye really doesn't have that much bargaining power. If he wasn't English and a marketed celebrity he'd hold next to fuck all weight in terms of what he's done in the division. His best win at CW was against Mormeck who was smashed to fuck by Klit when he stepped up. At HW the only thing he's done of note is earning a world title by way of beating the worst belt holder of all time. His second best achievement was beating Chisora, who Fury has also beaten. He's merely another Klit victim when you break it down to the cold facts.

External factors also favour Fury. Haye is the 'name' no doubt but Fury being Fury sells this fight because he's an absolute nutter who people either love or despise. This wouldn't be a 'David Haye fight' like Charr would have been, Fury is a massive selling point. Fury earns his 50% purse no matter which way you choose to look at it. Haye wouldn't make as much dough from 75% of a Charr fight that he does with 50% of a Fury fight.

Remember ticket sales for Haye - Charr bombed, it wasn't a seller.

Haye beat a much better version of Mormeck and has improved since then but if we play this game Haye beat the shit out of a better version of Chisora who is Fury's best win and had a tough fight with him. Haye is a huge draw his fight against chisora was one of the biggest british fights in recent years and he's even in Germany a draw. I also think Fury is a big draw but no I don't believe as big as Haye 60/40 for Haye would be reasonable

I think some are over the top with haye its untrue, not like he has smashed to bits the last four or five guys he has faced in one round is it ?. Yes he can punch, but hes had what ? two fights in two years or something, I would not be surprised if this is longer and closer then most think
