"The current net migration rate for U.K. in 2020 is 3.235 per 1000 population"

New Zealand’s net migration rate was 11.4 per 1,000 people in the year ended June 2019 (time period used for international comparability), reflecting annual net migration of about 56,000 for a population of about 4.9 million. This rate is similar to Australia's in 2017–18 but more than triple recent migration rates in the United States and United Kingdom.

You really don't know shit about New Zealand, you're just a gullible racist.

Who do you think the New Zealand migrants are?

I'll give you a clue. Most of them come from non-English speaking, non-Western, poverty stricken nations.

Anyway, I'm about done talking with you, since I find you odious. Go catch up on the latest with the interdimensional psychic space Jews.

so either don't reply or do it honestly. making bullshit fake points just makes you worse.
New Zealand has a shitload of non English speaking immigrants from poverty-stricken non-Western cultures. I know, because I live here and because I deal with them five nights a week. Clarence knows absolutely nothing about New Zealand, he's just a Holocaust denying, racist Qanon conspiracy fuckwit. I will be polite to you, not to him. :bart

you told me a week or so back you know nothing about the uk and our political issues.

house prices being insane and minimum wage not going up in 2 decades is a direct consequence of mass immigration.

now that we are not in the eu the french navy is illegaly helping migrant boats and we are putting said illegal immigrants into hotels on the taxpayer. so what your country does with legal imigrants is irelevant.

Minimum wage stagnating is right wing economic policy.

And I responded to Clarence telling me about New Zealand. Telling me that we have migration controls and you guys don't. The biggest Samoan city on the planet is not Apia, it's Auckland. More people were born in Samoa and now live in Auckland alone, than live in Samoa's capital. That's not Aucklanders of Samoan heritage, that's Aucklanders who were born in Samoa. And that's just Samoa.

Anyway, Clarence is a vile racist cunt and a gullible conspiracy moron, and can fuck off. You I have no problem with, except for being a cheerleader for him.

well hey, the last left team gov we had were fully behind it and the last left team election campaign was too. maybe we need a new system that is not bullshit with 2 fake teams funded by the same sources?

our migration controls are accepting illegal immigrants and putting them in hotels, and that is after 20+ years of legal mass migration and the detrimental effect that has had on the country.

no cheerleading is happening, you made an (imo) irrelevant post and i am talking about it. nz is the prime destination for samoans, uk is decades into being that but for all of europe, africa and large parts of asia, plus loads of south americans, kinda different.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!

I called NHS 111 on Wednesday to get a dentist appointment. I was told a dentist was going to ring me on Friday to see how he could help me and gauge whether or not my teeth problems were urgent enough to be looked at.

He rang and I lied about the pain I was(n't) having.

I saw a dentist today in the midst of Corona, I had my two front teeth filled white because both were chipped and one had gone black, the other a white filling lost. It cost £22.50. The dentist sees four patients a day, he said I should consider myself lucky. I now have relatively respectable looking teeth.

AT FUCKING LAST the NHS have done something right for me. I checked the same dentist after to see how expensive this treatment would have been for a private consultation - £300. I am charmed.

I'm retired, age 67 and have been on Medicare since age 65 when my pension insurance dropped me due to my age and ability to get Medicare through Social Security. I also have a plan through the state called "People's Health" that is a supplemental coverage to take care of dental, vision, prescriptions and extended coverage on medical issues. The People's Health supplemental plan costs me absolutely nothing.

I can't complain since my primary care Dr. sees me paying no co-pay for visits and a $30 co-pay for other specialist doctors-----------and they are mostly all specialists in today's medical practice.

I get 2 dental cleanings a year and 1 set of x-rays to check for any problems at no cost to me. I had 2 fillings removed and replaced just 3 weeks ago that were cracked and needing attention. I got the bill from the dentist 2 days ago and I owe him $9. That included the shots to numb the 2 areas of my mouth and the Dentists work, materials, etc.

I haven't used their vision plan yet but that is going to happen soon since my glasses are now 4 years old and the lenses are scratched a bit.

My prescriptions cost nothing unless there is no generic for it and the stuff I was taking for the kidney stones wound up costing me $45 a month for 4 months before I was taken off it.

Considering I was paying $675 a month for the wife and I before I hit age 65 through my pension and once on Medicare I only pay $175 a month for the wife through my pension and around $150 a month through Social Security for my health insurance, I actually got a nice raise in my pension when all was said and done since all that money was automatically deducted from my pension check before it was deposited in my account.

National Minimum Wage in Britain was first established in April 1999, at £3.00 per hour for 18-21 year olds, and £3.60 per hour for those 22 and above. Over the past two decades it has steadily been increased to more than double those rates. House prices are, indeed, mental. But the NMW has definitely not stood still over that period.

Minimum wage in the U.S. is established state by state with the lowest being $7.25 per hour or 5.63 of the British equivalent in pounds sterling all the way up to $15 an hour, or 11.65 in British pounds.

My first job as a youngster around age 12 saw me making the states minimum wage of $1.25 an hour, or the British equivalent of 0.97 pounds back in 1964.

As for house prices, it really depends on where you want to try to buy. Big cities, for the most part have expensive housing, unless it's depressed cities like Detroit and other cities in Michigan and other parts of the country. Naturally you get way more bang for your buck in rural areas where you can more often than not get acres of land with a nice house for far less than just a bare residential lot would cost in a popular upward trending urban area.

fair point, it hasn't risen in line with living costs but i should have done some research before saying that.

the first real job i had was in the early 2000's and paid £9 something an hour, the last job i had like that was a 3 or 4 years ago and paid £10 something.
