He has some natural ability, but he's sooooo fucking boring. Allows himself to be pressured and doesn't seem to have any answers when under pressure.

I think Mark Tibbs would be a great match for him.

He went 12 competitive rounds with parker, pulev and povetkin. He clearly has the tools to be a decent fighter, he just lacks the tools to get to the highest level

If he wants to make more of his career he needs to make changes. What he is doing isn't bringing results at World level.

If he is going to continue fighting in a negative, defensive way then he needs to be able to control the distance better, and he doesn't have the skill, fitness or experience to do so.

If he does want to keep going then he should freshen up his whole set-up. New coach, fitness trainer, training base, and maybe a psychologist. Drop down a level and rebuild.

Dom ingle could be a good shout. He might be wary of Peter being involved though.

I think he needs to pack the sport in all together, he neither has the physical or mental attributes to be a decent fighter.
Mate, as dire as he is to watch, he's won the British title and gone 12 with Parker, Pulev and Povetkin. That's already beyond being "decent". Moreover, he probably should have been given the Parker result (I had him winning by 2) and even those who scored it for Parker felt it was a close fight. A shit fight too, but still close.

But he has the wrong mentality and it's impossible to be a fan, as his fights are dull as fuck.

He win the British from 'default' champion Sam Sexton (default because all the top heavies weren't interested in the humble British title)

He ran away from Parker for 12 rounds and fought to survive against Pulev and Povetkin.

His problem in my opinion is that he’s not fought any decent gatekeepers, he should’ve been fighting heavies ranked 20-40 in the world to get experience.

There’s no wonder he’s negative & too worried about what’s coming back to engage against top 10 heavies when he’s not took gradual steps

He's just not that good at World level. No shame in that of course and deep down he probably knows this himself. I think the only person left who won't face reality is Peter Fury.

What was your score card for Hughie vs Parker?

He's obviously not totally shite as he has gone 12 with three top fighters (and arguably won one of them). But he blew all three tickets to the big time as he fought too negatively each time. Peter is a massive lier, as every time "you will see something different" yet it's the same old. Don't know where he goes from here. Hearn signing him was a daft move.

Should take up sparring role for others camps. Isn't someone who should be put before paying fans.
