Aye, that's pretty much it and exactly why i haven't even entertained this in any way whatsoever, man.

If that is actually a real exchange, I would have suggested handling it much more tactfully and laying it out in a way that made her see how mental her request was. But...funny replies from you if it is legit, almost as funny as her thinking she can sue you. You live in the land of the lawsuit, and even the US lawyers would laugh if you rolled into the office with her proposed lawsuit.

The ex I have a kid to...

Obviously, I'm still in contact with for parental shit. We actually have a decent relationship, minus a few bumps in the road, we always have had. Always very flexible, swapping time we have the kid and all that and she was cool when I wanted to take the kid to the US with me. So all pretty good.

However, over the last few weeks she has been asking me for money and I've just shrugged it off as a joke as that's what i thought it was but then she started getting pretty fuckin' aggressive about it and it's kinda coming to a head now that I realize this deluded bitch is actually 100% serious.

I've told her to fuck off and have no intention of giving her a penny but she's adamant I'm liable.

Objectively, does she have a point?

When she was pregnant she got quite bad stretch marks around her stomach and she wants to get surgery to remove them. The procedure is around $8'000 and she is insisting I pay half.

:think1
Don’t have time to read the responses. In the US, you can be held liable for a certain amount if the child and your partnership prevented career moves for her, etc.

So guns and bibles mixed with heroin and deep fried mars bars. Not sure it's that great an opportunity to be honest. @mandela should probably be paying his kid as apology money for her dual locations.
She has Disney World and ummmm... ehhhh, alcoholism and heart disease?

Best of both worlds!!

TBF, that's just from today. This has been going on for a couple of weeks, man. Like I said, at first i thought she was joking but I did respond somewhat more tactfully but this is about the 10th fuckin time she's raised it.

Aye, have you seen his messages?

@mandela, if you need a lawyer...may I recommend these guys? Saw them on John Oliver and law does not get better than this.

I just saw them

I dunno, I get what Mandela means when he says "I thought she was joking", I'm not sure myself and I don't even know her.

I like how she's in your contacts under 'Hayley's mother'. She doesn't even have a name...

He probably thought she was joking when she said, "By the way, I wasn't on the pill, what I meant was that I would get the morning after pill. But I forgot. And I'm pregnant".

He probably thought she was joking again, when she said "By the way, I'm lesbian, sorry but I am moving in with a woman".

I think it's safe to say that when she messages him that she wants another chunk of money for her stretch marks that he's best to not assume it's a joke.

Just message her back saying:

"I just think it's a bit of a stretch to say that I am responsible for paying for this, and I never had you marked out as an unreasonable person."

She's a lesbian now, mate. That's kinda why we split in the first place. Been with the same lassie for about 15 years or summin.
Sounds like she knew she was going lesbo, but used you to get pregnant as you were her best option. You then got duped into raising the child AND paying child support.

... And now she's coming back for a familiar mark, which is you.

Almost as bad as you raising another mans kids thinking they're your own, tbh :(
