Well count David Haye out aswell then because until only recently he and Booth promoted themselves and are yet to fight since venturing into "co"-promotion with fast car Freddie. Eddie himself said he aint got any input and Booth+Haye are in the driving seat. Some f*cking promoter that is! Just "signing" the name/brand was big enough for Eddie to just collect a paycheck whilst actually doing fuck all. Win-fucking-win. New age promoting at its finest.

This being said, surely both Haye and Khan can be included if they promote themselves? Aren't they classed as domestic promoters? Why are they void? Are they a separate entity to the norm by simply choosing to promote themselves and make the most money possible without middle men and cunts like Eddie? Its smart if you ask me!

Or do you actually mean fighters under actual promoters as in Frank and Eddie and not under the jurisdiction of themselves?
Khan has Khan promotions but he's with GBP really. Also it was for fighters who primarily fight in Britain which Khan doesn't.

Haye is co-promoted with Matchroom and fights in Britain so he counts.

The avengers will fight anywhere, i will transform streets into spectator venues.

I will take the fights into the deepest ghetto's in the country.

Fuck all this arena's, just like the Nark in the Park years ago in Liverpool, i will have the money and ability to create a Venue anywhere.

It will be promoting on a scale that has never been seen before!
Will they be coming to the nearest ASBO park near you? :happy

Well then Khan counts to if that is the case. Khan has fought in Britain plenty of times!

Was his last fight in Pakistan? No!

David Haye is yet to fight under co-promotion with Matchroom. If Haye counts so does Khan. :deal

Currently plying their trade in Britain with a domestic promoter who would you pick to keep you going for the next 5 years?

Bearing in mind your job here is to maximise your earning potential as well as deliver big fights.

I'm hoping this will conjure up some good natured debate although I do expect some Hearn bashing/stroking.
Can we include the Irish based Cubans? I'd want them in my stable. I'd want Alexei Acosta in with Carl Frampton, Scott Quigg and Kid Galahad. Acosta and Galahad might not be big ticket sellers - the former especially - but a four man tournament would do me nicely. Frampton/Acosta in Ireland and Quigg/Galahad in Lancashire. I'd be anticipating a Frampton/Quigg final, but I think Galahad would still be a decent domestic fighter that could be a decent attraction. Acosta's not a bad fighter, and at worst I'd look to move him along on support bouts on my big names' bills.

I'd want Mike Perez for the same reason - a fight with Tyson Fury. I think Fury is probably too big, but I think it could be built up into a fight people would want to see. And even if Fury does the business as expected there's always room for an exciting heavyweight on your roster.

No room for Luis Garcia though - with only four spaces left I'd probably not be looking to the light heavyweight division.

I'd be looking to Luke Campbell, and hoping to build him into an attraction in Hull.

Lee Selby is another I'd be picking up.

The last two would be Carl Froch and George Groves. And aye, I'd be looking to build up to a unification fight between those two. Not straight away - I'd want to try to get either the WBC belt from Bika or WBO belt from Stieglitz - or both :yep - so by the time the fight is made it's one that the casual punter is interested in too.

But it'd probably go horribly wrong. Acosta would beat Frampton and Perez would beat Fury; Groves would either lose his title shot or win it then lose before the Froch fight could be made. Or Frampton and Groves would grow into star status then ditch me as a promoter.

When Ricky Burns actually fights and beats someone of note and high calibre at this weight, people might start to sit up and take notice.

He had a LEGIT fight scheduled against Miguel Vazquez when he was with Frank. It did wonders for Ricky win or lose. No way would that fight not of been made at the later date. Frank was buckling under the pressure and abuse, I have no doubt in my mind that that fight would have gone ahead. But Team Burns couldn't wait to get on the next train to Matchroom, like all the rest, they followed suit and in the process dodged a legitimate top rank fight. Some harsher critics will claim they've ducked Broner twice, even when Burns claims otherwise in post fight interviews saying he would love the fight and to unify the division. "6 weeks wasn't enough" "Everybody knows why i didnt take that fight"

But that was then and this is now. I feel Broner has moved on.

Beltran is a better opponent than what he has been facing. But its not a Miguel Vazquez, Abril, Gamboa or Broner. Ricky will get unjust praise for fighting Beltran. These are the sort of fights he SHOULD be involved in at this level. Why does he need a gold medal for that? If he is as good as they say he is, he should have no problem at the level. They want to think themselves lucky Jose Gonzalez choked in that last fight. They should never ever forget that fight for however long Ricky fights for. His team were completely humbled and Gonzalez wasnt even ranked that highly. 99% of people didnt think he would come and do what he did. Team Burns can say what they like about ring rust, they wasn't speaking of this before the fight happened.

As I said, Beltran is a better ranked opponent and if Ricky comes through then fair play, but what difference will it make if after the fight he ends up fighting domestic level again, vs. Crolla or someone like Walsh?

The fact that they even thought about Liam Walsh or even have the intent making a fight vs. Crolla or Rees is a complete and utter joke. Walsh was ranked 69 (or was it 59?) at the time when that fight was scheduled. Ricky was/is WBO champ!

If they go back to square one after Beltran, then people cannot be knocked for saying Ricky Burns is nothing more than a domestic level belt holder.
''Domestic level belt holder'' New name, same Craney!

I'm not craney, but if Ricky Burns is pulled back after fighting Beltran, win or lose, it does 100% confirm what craney said months and months ago on ESB and that bloke is twerp of the highest degree Rossco!

If Ricky Burns fights and beats Beltran and Eddie makes the Crolla fight, then Ricky Burns is nothing more at this moment in time than a domestic level belt holder fighting one or two mandatory's and dodging the true big fights in the division.

Ricky Burns is not alone in this though, most "champions" today are exactly the same. If they can avoid fighting the best, they will.

Fur coat, no knickers.

I wont be happy with Crolla eather. If this is the path EH takes Burns down, then i dont think he has confidence in him to be the goods at the top tier.

I think Burns would fight the Best. Its other people to blame if he doesn't.
