Besides training for war he tjought sport was a waste of time
He did have some positive words about Boxing in Mein Kampf... but I do think that was along the lines of hardening youth...which with your position contextually.

Also...from what I understand...Max wasnt really "punished" for his loss.

This man with an iron heart is 6ft 2, blonde with icy blue eyes. He can bring a crowd to tears when he plays the violin. He is an athletic swimmer and fecner and later a war hero - flying over 100 combat missions on the Eastern Front, being shot down and avoiding soviet capture. He is responsible for terror throughout Europe and organizes the holocaust and systematic murder of millions of socialists, homosexuals, jews, roma, slavs and other undesiables. He is rgarded as one of the worst human beings in modern history and he is one of Hitler's favourite murderers.

His name is Reinhard Heydrich.

Germany's unemployment is at one million in 1936, down from six million only four years previously. The Nazis continue with elections and referendums, the catch being that the ballot contains only Nazi candidates.

In 1936 Germany hosts the winter and summer olympics. Concentration camps are spruced up and anti-semitism is tamped down due to the sudden eyes of th world being upon Germany.

Hitlers plans for war continue at a rapid pac. The Rheinland is reoccupied and Hitler orders Göring to begin a four-year rearnament plan. In Spain, the civil war turns international and Hitler sends troops to assist Franco and gain experience for his growing military. A new pact is announced - the anti-cominern - to counter what Hitler calls "Judeo-Bolshevism". Japan and Italy sign up but Britain hesitates. Hitler now believes that a natural race-based alliance between Britain and Nazi Germany may not be possible.

Is it true that American and Irish psychologists at the time of Hitler believed that much of his pathological behaviour was deeply rooted in his mustache envy when growing up on Boston Tom literature and that his general inability to have what he termed "fully fluted sides" to his mustache is why he styled his own in such a distinct manner and that he had to sway a large mass of people to satisfy his ego in order to delude himself into a kind of mustache supremacy? I've heard that the fluting thing was a result of a mistranslation from English to German and back. I can't be sure. I don't know what it means. Regardless, it's probably why he was so invested in Schmeling, in a way, right?

1937 and the oppression of the population under Nazi rule continues.

Jewish doctors are now forbidden to attend to non-jewish patients.

Goebbels sets up the Degenerate Art Exhibition - to showcase the disgusting jewish influence on modern art. The show is insanely popular and attracts millions of visitors.

Murmurs of resistance are beginning. Talks of a coup begin in the military's top levels. The drive for rearnament is demanding increasing resources that Nazi Germany does not have.

Hitler turns his eyes south towards his homeland: Austria. He informs Goebbels that eventually the country must be taken by force.

Austria has just survived a civil war between left and right wing parties and attempted coup by Nazis that ended with the killing of Austrian leader Dolfuss. His replacement Schuschsnigg, clamps down on nazi sympathisers. Hitler protests and yet hesitates before invsion.

Austria is part of Italy's sphere of influence.

Hitler meets Mussolini asks Italy not intervene if Austria chooses to join Nazi Germany. He promises that he will assist Mussolini in an future conflict. Mussolini agrees. It is a deal that Hitler will come to regret.

No.

The economy and rise of Germany (1935-1939) had their base in war. In other words, without war it would not have been sustainable.

Hitler banked on war, a war of extermination at that. Therefore he cannot be perceived as great.
