Thought that kid in the red hat seemed a tool at the time. Being a tool doesn't mean you should be denied an education though.

It certainly didn't in my day. My uni was full of dickheads.
There was a famous image of the kid with a certain grin on his face and I think reflexively that smirk struck a chord within a lot of people and they instantly jumped to thinking this kid was a cheeky little cunt abusing a noble Native American... the truth of the situation was a little bit different.

This ACLU staffer arguing that he should be denied a position seems to have forgotten this pertinent point.

That's not what I got from this at all. I got, the first person(ACLU person I think?) is dumb as fuck, the teacher was good but pandery, in that they needed to repeat how much they disagree and hate what the kid thinks..., then the kid responded on a positive way to the whole thing.

It is mostly a good example of how long-lasting some less than great reporting can be, but i think most of us already knew that

How Trump Draws on Campaign Funds to Pay Legal Bills

WASHINGTON — President Trump was proudly litigious before his victory in 2016 and has remained so in the White House. But one big factor has changed: He has drawn on campaign donations as a piggy bank for his legal expenses to a degree far greater than any of his predecessors.

In New York, Mr. Trump dispatched a team of lawyers to seek damages of more than $1 million from a former campaign worker after she claimed she had been the target of sexual discrimination and harassment by another aide. The lawyers have been paid $1.5 million by the Trump campaign for work on the case and others related to the president.

In Washington, Mr. Trump and his campaign affiliates hired lawyers to assist members of his staff and family — including a onetime bodyguard, his oldest son and his son-in-law — as they were pulled into investigations related to Russia and Ukraine. The Republican National Committee has paid at least $2.5 million in legal bills to the firms that did this and other legal work.

In California, Mr. Trump sued to block a law that would have forced him to release his taxes if he wanted to run for re-election. The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee have paid the law firm handling this case, among others, $1.8 million.

Mr. Trump’s tendency to turn to the courts — and the legal issues that have stemmed from norm-breaking characteristics of his presidency — helps explain how he and his affiliated political entities have spent at least $58.4 million in donations on legal and compliance work since 2015, according to a tally by The New York Times and the nonpartisan Campaign Finance Institute.

By comparison, President Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee spent $10.7 million on legal and compliance expenses during the equivalent period starting in 2007. President George W. Bush also spent much less, even taking into account his legal spending on the recount fight that went to the Supreme Court, records show.

The spending on behalf of Mr. Trump covers not only legal work that would be relatively routine for any president or candidate and some of the costs related to the Russia inquiry and his impeachment, but also cases in which he has a personal stake, including attempts to enforce nondisclosure agreements and protect his business interests.

Many of the bills being paid by donors to Mr. Trump and his party have come from the Republican National Committee’s “recount account.” It is a special fund created after 2014 when Congress — at the request of campaign finance lawyers and leaders of both parties — allowed much larger contributions by individuals to the political parties, totaling $106,500 per person, compared with the normal $2,800 limit.

rich guys changing the laws so other rich guys can give them more money to pay their legal bills...................

Ahh, I'll bow to your superior knowledge. I just vaguely remember it being on the news.
First, the busload of high school kids got cursed at and racially abused for several minutes by a bunch of shithead Black Israelites. They did not reciprocate, but left the immediate vicinity and started chanting school songs.

Then the Native Americans headed over to provoke them. The main guy, Nathan Phillips, got in MAGA hat kid's face and started chanting at him. The kids danced along with the native protestors drumming.

The kid was clearly nervous at being confronted by an old native man with a drum. It seemed that he wanted to hold his ground, but didn't want to be aggressive or confrontational. So he just stood there with a confused, nervous smirk on his face. Which I sympathise with, since any time anyone yells at me or curses me out, I smirk like a total prick. Can't help it.

Afterwards, the Native American guy lied his ass off start to finish about what happened. He claimed that he and his fellow activists were surrounded by the kids. The only movement the kids ever made was to remove themselves from racist abuse by the Black Israelis. In fact, the Native American activists belligerently went after the kids and attempted to march right through them, seemingly for no reason except to provoke and bully.

Nathan Phillips also lied that the kids were yelling "Build the Wall!" at him. Multiple hours of video from several cameras at the scene failed to pick up any reference to a wall.

Phillips kept lying and claiming racial victimhood after more video came out.

Sandmann (MAGA hat kid) has already won multiple legal judgements against media outlets for calling him a racist hatemonger, with more still winding their way through the courts.

Just a disgraceful display of bullying and identity politics racial privilege all round, really. Out of the three groups involved, the most mature, honest and dignified were the MAGA hat high school kids from Kentucky. :patsch

I don't know if I love or hate it when SJW wankers straight up reveal that they are terrible people who are just fine with others being terrible people, just so long as they're woke enough. You see it over and over and over when reading their shit. Latest example, about the fake black professor:

"Someone I considered a friend up until this morning"

Two tweets and less than a minute later:

"Her persistent negativity and jealousy, her always needing to prove her authenticity at the expense of everything else."

Personally, in my life....... I don't call anyone a friend who I find to be self-loathing, let alone "persistently negative and jealous", let alone massively, aggressively racist and pathologically self-obsessed crybullies. That's not friend material to me. But that's just me, with my toxic racist ass. :rolleyes

Jessica Krug is the Jewish woman from Kansas who has spent the last 15 years being a professor of African studies or whatever, while pretending to be black and making up multiple fake black identities herself. She's a vile racist who made a nice career for herself from being a vile SJW toxic racist. Then she got busted, and she wrote an article about it that is cringe distilled.

Not exactly as important as climate change or income inequality, but still, infuriating. She's pretty deeply mentally ill and self-loathing, but the current culture validated and encouraged her delusions and her belligerent, self-hating racism.

Yeah, I hate to side with a kid wearing a MAGA hat, but he was straight out of some hick town and didn’t really do anything wrong. Black Israelites are at least up front about being racist shit stirrers, but the Indian really pisses me off by pandering to the general public while also being an asshole; and he’s abusing his status as an Indian because the general public rightfully has lots of sympathy for them.

That is not true. The teacher has a responsibility not to publicly prejudge students.

Yea, I misread it. I'm not really with you on the entirely rational and fair bit. Entirely rational and fair generally doesn't need to repeatedly qualify the position. Consistently qualifying is a form of signaling and entirely unnecessary when making an argument.

That said, wearing a MAGA hat is somewhere between wearing a flat earth t-shirt and a clansman's hood...............

and Im reserving the privilege of doing a little prejudging

lets be real,ya make a public statement,we can judge ya................and its not like he is making a general statement like 'Im a conservative'

no

its a maga hat

badge of the dumbest cult on earth

and I DID say he has an excuse

he is a kid

that excuse wont be valid much longer tho.......................
