Well well well, I mean I just watched it now but mine was in Russian commentary and they weren't doing an unofficial scorecard either but I was and I had that 116-112 for Castano at the end, this was an absolute robbery. I haven't seen the post-fight interviews or presser yet I'll catch all that later but only one man turned up to grab the undisputed crown and it was taken from him last night, I feel very sorry for the man he's worked his ass off for this and he deserved to have his hand raised at the end.

So the official cards say by 1 point to Castano and by 6 to Charlo, what a disgrace.

Agreed, huge stretch to give Charlo the draw. The absolute worst Castano did, giving Charlo every close round, I'd imagine would still be a close but clear win for him. Like Castano by 2 rounds over Charlo is the absolute worst you can do to him. Definitely deserved to win this one, and I doubt Charlo is hanging around at 154 to rematch, but he could surprise me and give one to Castano.

I think Charlo knows he got away with one here, I'm just watching his post-fight press conference and although he says he thinks he won, his words aren't matching his behaviour. When he lost to Harrison he flew off the handle and rightly so imo but I think he knows what really happened last night in there. If he thought he was robbed of the undisputed title in his home State he wouldn't be smiling and laughing like he is here. Even his coach told him in the 9th that he needs a KO. James also said that Tony Harrison did better than Castano and Jermall was in the crowd shouting his agreement with that statement, he didn't say which fight he was talking about, I assume it's the first one but I'll have to disagree with the coach on that one.

Charlo pissed the fight away.

Why, it's almost as if he knew the cards would be a draw before the fight started......

The sanctioning body we probably all like the best of the main 4 have done what we usually like them to do and have called a mandatory. Unfortunately this time they've called it on Jermell Charlo ending hopes of an immediate rematch for the undisputed title.

Apparently Charlo was granted an exception by the IBF to allow him to fight Castano but two fights is a delay that won't be accepted and so he has 30 days (29 left) to reach an agreement with IBF 154lb mandatory challenger Bakhram Murtazaliev or face purse bids.

A rumour I haven't been able to find confirmation of yet is the WBO naming Tim Tszyu mandatory challenger for Brian Castano. I sincerely hope that's not true, if he could have a voluntary first that would be great, surely Tszyu can wait, he's only had 19 fights and I think he could do with a Rosario or Smith first, Smith says he would fight him yesterday so let's get that done in the meantime I say

Charlo's opponent has a nothing resume to deserve a mandatory spot. What an awful fight. Dude's best win is Fernando Carcamo who crazily ventured to 154. Dude should at least fight someone before being a mandatory, ffs.

It's a tough one.
Like you say this is why we like the IBF.

In my opinion though, unification comes before all else in the division.
Even if it means my Aussie boy Timmy Tszyu doesn't get his mandatory against Castano.

if I had my way.... Everyone else in the division can just sit and wait until Castano and Charlo finish their business
