Yeah!

"Fuckin white men!", says the white woman.
Aye, and Swinson is busy presenting herself as this progressive, better alternative, but here's her voting record:

https://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/11971/jo_swinson/east_dunbartonshire/votes

So basically...
  • voted for the bedroom tax
  • voted against increased benefits for people on disability
  • voted for more NHS privatisation
  • voted against higher tax on biggest earners
  • voted for cutting corporation tax, oh and for raising VAT.
So corporations should pay less, but everyday people can make that up with higher VAT.

  • Voted to raise tuition fees (after being part of the party who campaigned to oppose any increase)
  • voted to end funding for job creation for young people in long term unemployment
  • voted against banker bonus taxes, but for higher taxes on alcohol...good old working class ideals.
  • voted against benefits rising in line with inflation
  • voted for selling off state owned forests
  • voted against incentives for businesses to lower carbon emissions
  • voted against halting the rise in rail fares
  • voted for the privatisation of the Royal Mail
She's more Tory than a good number of Tories.

Fuckin hell, what a cunt... Boris Johnson would blush at this voting record.

I have no problems with corporations paying less tax. I see nothing wrong with a 0% corporation tax. Coporation taxes reduce corporation investments.
Am much more in favour of taxing the wealth extracted from corporations via capital gains, wealth taxes. You tax capital wealth holders have.

And that's my vote lost.

Clever accountants can reduce the bill as you want basically. That’s why startbucks sell themselves their own beans
That's a completely separate point to whether or not a government should set 0% corporation tax. Under Ernie's idea, multinationals like Amazon could make billions from UK consumers, while undercutting other UK businesses, sending all of their profits back to the US owners, and pay absolutely nothing into our coffers.

It's madness.

So, what's your point? Corporations avoid tax, so the solution is to make it legal for them to avoid it in its entirety? I presume not, so in that case, you agree with me, that making corporation tax 0% would be ridiculous? Yes? No?

No. And negative interest rates are also a great thing to deal with the Uber rich imo.
