Chess set ultimately will be more for display.
It's a Isle of Lewis set and I basically just use Staunton design and staunton variations for play.

Some people don't want to spend the guts of a year pretending their mother is an invalid so they can live off her and not go to work. Talking mad shit for most of that time about the omnipresent danger of covid which you now admit hasn't even been a risk in that fuckin swamp town you live up until a few weeks ago.

Been a few months now that it's been very common in my community.
There was always cases...first case was the end of February.
I also always expected it to eventually get bad...I wrote posts saying as much back in may...given the demographic make up of my area and the high rate of conservative retards.
It took awhile to hit heavy though largely because the lockdown.
As for my mom...
My mom has significant memory issues due to taking blood thinners, age, and the effects of congestive heart failure and copd.
She also has physical limitations largely due to the oxygen and heart issues. She gets out of breath quickly.
She is significantly impaired. She is capable of using the bathroom on her own which is good because I don't think I'd be able to do that.
She has had hours for over 2 years now and aside from a few hours here and there (like when we didn't have staff) I have largely not utlized her hours until February of this year.
My family is fine with it.
I do have one conspiracy believing brother who for the longest time thought Covid was fake...but he's inconsequential really.
My sister is very supportive.
My other brother is fine with it although I don't think he took Covid very seriously.
However his view may have changed since his wife is still very fatigued and doesn't seem to be recovering much 10 days after her positive diagnosis.
What about you?
All the covid shit you wrote in that thread..lecturing other posters about the need to take it serious.
Was that just a show?

I finally did download and listen to a Rogan podcast on spotify.
He had on Bryan Fogel who did some interesting documentaries so I gave the complete thing a listen.
Good interview from Joe... Guy is enough of a expert in his field that Joe managed to shut the fuck up on his stupid shit.
