not over a wide variety of topics imo.

dan carlin is my fav podcast, but it is only history
A shame Carlin is so meticulous. Takes forever before we get new content and because of that, we don't know if he'll ever get to some of the amazing stories or eras in history. The fall of the republic was kind blowingly good. They're all great, but some of the ones he does are just next level.

Are there any other podcasts as interesting as rogans?
Wondery.

Have a lot of different well-produced podcasts under one banner. They have quite a few 6-10 part series on different events. Interesting stuff.

My mind was blown mam. Easily one of the best interviews I've ever heard. To willing put yourself through the amount of shit he does to effectively prove to everyone and himself that he's not a pussy is astonishing. He's so intense that it's actually funny. Quite motivating too. The bloke has incredible mental strength.

Just saw this posted, gonna watch it now ... this is a big name for the JRE, good on him, hopefully it encourages bigger stars to appear too.

Do they go into Downeys past?
No idea yet myself but I dunno how or hope they don't avoid it.
I admit I only watched about 15 - 20 minutes through individual clips, I didn't hear anything about his past back in the '80's but they went deep into the discussion about his role in Tropic Thunder and if Hollywood would ever be able to make a movie like that again. Was pretty crazy when he explained that Ben Stiller got way more flack for his portrayal of Simple Jack and the overabundant use of the word retard but Downey didn't really get too hammered by the fact he was in blackface, portraying a white man playing a black man. Said his mum told him she had a "really bad feeling" about him playing the role.

Do they go into Downeys past?
He doesn't like talking about his past. I think he should talk about it and inspire others; I mean he really was in a bad place and look at him now.

Now, I may be wrong about the second clip but to me, he seemed quite hurt by Gervais' manner.

He is one of the few Hollywood types who went from sucking cock to not sucking cock.

Broke the addiction...
