The guy that got robbed by Callum Smith.
I'll give it a rewatch.Nah.
I just watched that fight. (for the first time) Smith fought badly (Either an off night, or he got exposed) and Ryder was tough, but IMO no way did Ryder deserve a win. Not even a draw, though ti was close.
Regardless, I've never seen Smith that lethargic & sloppy.
I think there is a good possibility he can make it exciting. Also hope that he can be somewhat competitive and make a name for himself out there resulting in more big fights.

He likes to get inside and let his hands go, he's got a decent engine, he throws some decent combos, and he has also shown a decent dig since his move to super middle.
I can't make a case for him winning, but I think there could be some decent exchanges.
He's much improved the last few years, and he's usually good to watch. He's also deserving of a big fight.I just watched a few other of Ryder's fights, and I think I'll have to agree with you 100% Ryder is aggressive, relentless, and not without some skill, especially defensively. I no longer think Callum Smith had "an off night," I think Ryder just fought well and frustrated the snot out of Smith. (I still think Smith won the fight, barely.)
Having said that, I don't think Canelo is the type of fighter to get frustrated and start making mistakes, so my prediction won't change, but yeah it could be a very exciting fight.
