With me....

Man I think I'm falling in love with her (I really need to get out today, but it is the first boxer I've ever felt that way about to be fair)

No seriously this girl is not only attractive but fantastic to watch, her style is entertaining and she has a great selection of offensive shots. She has a lovely skill set and her fights are anything but boring.

Remember @cam2010 one of our own is a proud family member so let's be nice,I think Cameron should be CHBs flag bearer for the women's sport, most of us aren't generally interested in the women's game,BUT I really do enjoy watching this girl.

This can be the official Chantelle Cameron express train to 2 weight world domination, who is with me?

She is doing very well and is improving all the time.

OTW over the years women's boxing has been derided in the past and admit I wasn't it's biggest fan but it's here to stay and if women want to get fit and even compete, fair play.

Sure most here have heard of Jane Couch 'the fleetwood assassin' who was the first licensed British female fighter and had a great career. Here is a read on her and interesting in particular one 'person' who was against it.Long article but a decent read.

The 14th paragraph in particular will interest a few :conf

I went to school in Fleetwood, I remember Couch vs Lucia Rijker as the first technically excellent women's fight I'd seen. Always good to read Maloney's old misogynistic comments, seems to be suffering from some serious vag envy in that article.

Thank thank you
I'm sure chantelle will be pleased when I show her this thread, who knows maybe a few of the stalwarts of this forum may buy a ticket and watch her box in Leicester on December 2nd.
Sorry about shameless plug but it's all about selling tickets and winning now.
With chantelle's permission I will name OTW as fan clubs honorary president and myself as treasurer as I still need to pay Craig for his great announcement on Saturday evening

I'm in. I actually look out for her fights. She's attractive (sorry Cam) and has a great style to watch. I'd much rather watch her fight than Katie Taylor.

I'm not massive on Women's boxing but is there likely a fight to be made?
As Hearn and Mcguigan don't Seem to get on I think it would be a difficult match but who knows money talks
At the moment Chantelle has plans to stay at her new weight then move up later on

Yeah second this, she's fun to watch and puts punches together nicely. Would like to see her fight Taylor.

The issue with women's boxing is it's usually been one fighter who is decent and then someone that looks like an absolute novice in the pros. As @tompreston said we've got three talented fighters in an around the same weight so we will get good fights from that. #teamChanCam

Now of course if she signed up and posted on here then she would get even more CHB support (hint, hint)

Chantelle Cameron and David Allen could be our his and hers professional representatives.

OTW probably not the best idea Chantelle signing up sure cam can relay any messages or information anyway.:good

You are right again on rossco he knows his boxing but getting on the wrong side of him seems not verbally advisable.

In boxing terms it seems many have been on the receiving end of a promised 'split decision' the man takes no prisoners

Nah, not particularly, 4 main ones still the 4 main ones. This will be only the second time the IBO lightweight has been fought for, last one in 2011

Late 90s/Early 00s the WIBF (Women's International Boxing Federation - completely separate to IBF, maddeningly) was the big one, perhaps that's what you're referencing? Those were the belts Jane Couch won. Still around, but no longer as big.

Major bodies only started paying attention to women's boxing in late 2000s.

GBU and WBF are connected in some way and are a big deal in Germany, but standard lower than the big 4.
