Might be tough to get a good level of opponent at this late a date.
If you ignore morality then Miller is a good shout. Povetkin would be good, but he's due for the Saudi card. Konwacki or Joyce are prob out due to promotional issues.
I would like it to be Rivas, but I think Hughie or a Takam rematch are more likely.
Edit. I think Hrgovic would take it. Not sure if he has the profile yet though, and it's a big risk for both fighters.
I would like it to be Pov. That should be a great fight. Will he be ready on time though, and is it a better fight for him than Hunter on the AJ card? He should prob command the most money too, so it prob doesn't happen. Shame.
Rivas would be good too, but how keen will he be to come back to the UK after the drugs/gloves debacle?
He also strikes me as a guy who might, cough, cough, struggle with short notice fights. That is based purely on his appearance though, so I may be being unfair.
If they could get Rivas that is even better than the Parker fight plus he deservers another opportunity after the Whyte situation, Rivas would ktfo Chisora
There is an unnamed, 'high profile, Islander born sportsman' caught up in some drug strife in NZ at the present time. However, there is nothing whatsoever to suggest it has anything to do with Joseph Parker. If it did involve the Parker family it would more likely be his troubled brother. But that is pure speculation on my part, and the perpetrator is probably a former rugby player.
