Yeh I think his best hope is to recover take a 8 or 10 rounder and then try and goad Galahad into a rematch for the IBF belt.

some embarrassing comments regarding Lara in this thread, josh has zero power, been feasting on past it, midgets and feather fisted opponents for far too long.
First time he fights a dangerous, young and hard hitting Mexican with good pressure he gets brutalized. Gutted i only had 10£ left in my account, josh was a ko waiting to happen with his style and lack of power.

I like Warrington and was looking forward to matchups with Can and GRJ, that's out the window now but I don't know if he'll want a rematch with Lara, every punch was rocking him and I don't think at this stage he could adapt his style like LSC did in the Frampton rematch
How so after the knockdown when Warrington could hardly stand let alone fire back. It was in play remember

This reminds me of Eammon Loughran. Vs Jose Luis Lopez.
Anyone else remember this fight?
Loughran was WBO Champ. Lopez was a 23 year old no one had really heard off.
Lopez destroyed him in 51 seconds of the first round with 3 knockdowns., Loughran never fought again. Lopez did not have the promotional backing and never got the fights against De Lahoya or Trinidad although they were talked about. But he did fight a draw with Ike Quartey.
Jose Luis Lopez Was a very, very good fighter..

Wood - Mould was a good scrap. Happy for him and think going to Davison is a good move.
Thought Barrett nicked a draw, but felt that was generous. Kiko won 5 rounds clearly, and had a shout in 2 or 3 others.
A draw was the worst he should have got. Giving him 2 rounds was criminal.
Warrington looked off from the start. (I've never been sold on him, but he has beaten Frampton, Selby, and Galahad and was a world champ).
Lots of background issues may have affected him. Fighting a puncher when you are a pressure fighter is tricky though, might just be a bad style match up.
Shocking they didn't stop it in the 4th, or any point after. They have done him no favours. He wasn't going to win, and he's now taken a beating that could be physically and mentally debilitating.
Hope he's alright. Not sure what his next step should be.

One of the worst ref displays I have ever seen. Warrington was that badly hurt he couldn't even fire back. They say boxing British boxing have some of the best refs in the world and Foster is one of them. He was scared to stop the fight is it just me or can u see it in his movements last night he goes to stop the the fight 3 times then thinks ohh noo Matchroom fighter British fighter never been stopped. I want to stay on Matchroom shows
Warrington took a sustained beating last night even our so called best in the world medics were hesitant to help Josh it took Lara to point at him for ffs and say help him.
I love boxing but its a worry when u clearly see a boxer is clearly out on his feet yet because he has never been stopped world champion the ref wouldn't dare jump in. Boxing referees shouldn't even look at records of fighters and call the action how they see it. Thats a world class referee.
Sky Sports world class do me a favour halfway through the fight errr scorecards quickly pan to Dave yea Lara winning.
Headway will use stuff like last night yet it could have easily been stopped.
