@Trail, covered in blood , people being sick over me, and yes initially the cab driver refused to take me and my mates , but he ended up taking us and having a drink in my pub.. Regards Mervyn The Gee

Was it total violence there that night, Merv?

I'm too young to have been there. I've seen it on video dozens of times. Looked pretty crazy to me.

@Trail, sad to say it was probably more frightening than you may experience at Leeds.. . It started with booing and then the missiles by the hundreds started flying through the air, I suffered minor cuts and bruises but some people were seriously injured. I probably received my cuts and bruises trying to fight my way under the ring to relative safety. Reegards Mervyn the Gee

I will go with Galahad...by stoppage. Only reason being is the Ingle style of fighting is designed to deal with aggressive fighters.

Galahad has been pretty close to the ingles they took him on as a special project.. he is almost an extension of their family. I do think technically all bases will be covered by Dominic Ingle.

Remains to be seen as to how he deals with the occasion mentally.

The Fury fight seems to have dwarfed this. No talk at all.
I guess it was to be somewhat expected, especially with BT pushing the Fury fight more due to it being PPV. And with the buzz around the heavyweight division since Ruiz-AJ.

Hopefully people get more invested in the next few days as this is a great card.

I've looked and looked and cannot see any build up shows at all, which is surprising.

This fight is better than anything Sky are putting on non-PPV at the moment.

Warrington has a good story to tell, too.

This has always been Frank and Queensberrys big issue from my point of view.
They think you can just sign a couple of fighters up for a potentially cracking fight on and the rest will fall into place.
It doesn't work like that.
These things need build up, drama, storylines, shoulder programming the whole lot if they want to create PPV events.
Warren has never embraced this side of the game and that is why he has fallen behind Eddie...

Round and about
Proud to have lasted 1 minute 17 seconds into the head to head before switching off given how unlikable this pair are.

Will still watch the fight though. Hope Barry wins.
