Anthony Joshua insists he would have beaten Jarrell Miller regardless of his use of performance enhancing drugs.

Despite the advantages Miller would have had in the fight, Joshua insists he would have happily fought the Brooklyn banger under the circumstances.

“I would have fought Miller on PEDs,” the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion told iFL TV.

“It’s a fight at the end of the day, it is what it is. No issue. What Miller chooses to do or the governing body chooses to do is nothing to do with me, as long as I can crack on and do my job.

“I don’t think he could have beat me on PEDs anyway. It would have been a good fight, it would have been a tough fight.”

Joshua wouldn’t rule out a fight with Miller in the future if the opportunity presented itself.

“I was looking forward to punishing him, I was looking forward to punishing Miller to be fair,” Joshua added.

“If it’s a fight that was to go ahead, I wouldn’t turn down an opportunity to fight anyone, so why not?

“Let’s be optimistic about the situation.”

Sport never change. #2 top draw says happy to fight a PED user. I know he probably only means against shit fighters but what a message to send out.

If boxing actually had a core fanbase then I'd say it be up to them to force changes, but casual market is most important to big payday.

The message there is all wrong. I agree. Sometimes people should just keep their mouths shut.

Round and about
Really strange interview. Reminds me of Lance Armstrong getting interviewed about one of his rivals been popped & instead of criticising them he’d be saying that they’re a great guy & he hopes they come back
Every time I hear the old "he's never failed a drug test" chestnut I think of Lance. He passed 500 tests.

Has AJ ever given a response to the Therapeutic Use Exemption accusations? The few times I've seen him questioned about it, he's never directly answered the TUE issue.

I’ve no idea, I’ve only ever heard it mentioned by Miller. I’d love to hear someone knowledgeable like a Tris Dixon ask him

Joshua claims he does Olympic "whereabouts" testing and tested at least monthly + VADA for fights.

Miller claim was post Olympics Joshua gained too much muscle / weight for it be natural.

He cant still being tested via Olympics anti-doping programme unless I'm missing something.
