Why does anyone even reply to this guy hes a retarded troll, "They do it to lose weight" lol go watch another sport
If you’re really unfit or you’re in a general prep phase of training then roadwork is beneficial for general fitness.
When it comes to boxing specific fitness it’s useless.
I understand that many old school sort of boxers/trainers think they’re getting their boxing fitness from running, but the physiological facts are the facts regardless of belief. I’m saying that losing weight for a weight class is the only real benefit of roadwork.

Arguments happen when you’re an educated person talking to borderline retards.

Get help.
For what? If what I’m saying is wrong then we could have a discussion about the relevant scientific literature and the physiological mechanisms underpinning what we’re talking about. Instead there are people like you posting memes and pictures of boxers from ancient times, thinking that your beliefs are self-evident truths. I feel sorry for people like you, you’re already left in the past. I like to learn so I’ll be fine.

They are right. You are nothing but a troll.
I am? Then why did I state my opinions on Wilder, you instead focused on attacking me, you made claims about my past posts, I proved you wrong, and you vanished. Now I’m talking about established scientific/physiological mechanisms (as that’s my area of work) and you come back to attack me.
And I’m the troll? Because I responded to your retardation and attacks and put you in your place?

I’m talking about the issues, you dummies want to talk about me because you’re not intelligent/educated enough to refute what I say. I do enjoy it, it’s fun and games for me. I’m not here to trigger anybody intentionally, it’s just a side effect of being honest and that’s not my problem. Sort yourself out.

That’s true, not for strength but more for conditioning of tendons and the stretch shortening cycle of the calves.
Funny, above you claimed : "they do it to lose weight. For boxing fitness it’s close to pointless".
