Joshua asking his corner, "Why do I feel like this, though?"

You didn´t read my post well, mate.
He has the mindset of a fighter, I said that in other post before, he is tough, mentally.
I´m only not sure if his BODY is the proper body for fighting, I don´t know if you ever fought no offense, but you gotta have a body that is truly hard, not meaning muscles, to stand there when someone hits you many times.

Joshua has a lot of muscles but his body is not hard for fighting... maybe. Not mentally, mentally he is tough.
I actually feel it's the complete opposite here, I mean though he might have been a little too muscular and heavy for stamina sometimes but otherwise he's got near perfect physique for this and I'm not sold on him having a weak chin either like some others are claiming, quite the opposite I think he has an iron chin the punch he was dropped with against wlad would have stopped the majority of top fighters then and there imo but he got up and came back, I think mentally is where he faults he seems to nice for this line of work, I also saw it mentioned somewhere that he'd had a panic attack before the fight and didn't even want to go out but was forced out by his dad and trainers and whatnot and that's why he didn't even seem warmed up and was late to the ring and frankly that makes perfect sense to me I definitely think there might be something to that story, he never really seemed to be that badly hurt from a punch the way it looked to me he looked like a guy with anxiety that wanted to escape.

That panic attack story sounds so dumb as fuck lol. And Joshua having an iron chin? Damn lol.

Most boxers today are still using roadwork as part of their training too.
So what? Most athletes and people concerned with fitness also take multivitamins and science has shown they are at best useless and at worst detrimental for your health, unless your diet is basically crisps and McDonald's every day. Tons of accepted practices and things that people just do as part of accepted norms are based on nothing.

Even stretching. Find a personal trainer who won't tell you to stretch lots to avoid injury...but the actual, detailed studies into stretching...show that it's pretty pointless for most sports, and gradual warm up will avoid injury just as much. Stretching is good for getting good at stretching, and obviously if you can put your hands flat on the floor from bending over, you're less likely to get an injury by doing that sort of motion, but it won't help you avoid injury in running anymore than a runner who skips it.

Common sense tells me that a boxer using a cross trainer is doing more for their stamina in the ring than running. Because a huge amount of the energy expended in the ring is from throwing punches, not jogging at a moderate pace. Using resistance bands to punch...intense all body workouts...yeah...those would all work. Obviously running is better than doing no cardio work, but just because boxers always did it, and boxers do it now, doesn't mean it's the optimum way to increase ring stamina. What controls are in place? Have we had a boxer train with road runs only, test their stamina, then take a break and do a stint of stamina training based around full body HIIT, resistance bands and shadow boxing with dumbbells in hand for intense, sporadic sessions?

The answer is no. I am pretty confident that there's a ton of stamina building workouts that do a shit ton more for a boxer than jogging down a road.

AJ was acting a lot like W. Klitschko. Very fatigued and very nervous. Maybe his first time in the US on top of getting floored 4 times led to charged nerves. In a body builder frame where the heart is already overworked that tends to add to the physical stress very rapidly.

AJ doesn't have a boxing body. So yeah much like WK if he gets stressed his stamina is going to deplete rapidly.

Wlad v Lamon Brewster was one of the most difficult things I've watched. No blood from Wlad, but he damn near collapsed in there. As a matter of fact he did, faceplanted walking back to his corner.

It was a bad night for AJ just a disaster when you look at it.

'Straya, cunt.
He has also said that PEDs don't improve performance.
What!? So performance enhancing drugs don’t enhance performance? So the EPO/HGH/Test cocktail Shane Mosely was in when he fought Oscar DeLaHoya those times didn’t help him finish the fight as hard as he started? Wow!
