I remember during the early days of BoxNation, me and Rob Palmer tried to get in touch with Japanese TV broadcasters in an attempt to secure fights on BN's behalf
Now after all of these years, they're finally showing a live fight from Japan. BN won't die!

think I remember that, was really annoying we didn't get the NYE fights from Japan given the usual lack of boxing at that time of year. BN finally delivered the dream!

Is it normal in Japan for the champion to be introduced first and the fighter's surnames to be announced before their first names? Round 2 was entertaining, the crowd are very orderly, they were clapping in sync at the action

I got 2-1 Ioka with no score in the 3rd (missed last minute of the round so I'll have to score it later)
He can't miss against this guy, he's charging in only concerned with his offence, you reckon it goes the distance? He doesn't look hurt to me
