I think it's a great fight. Although I hope Thurman hasn't regressed too much after all his injury problems -- the signs weren't too promising in his last contest.

Imagine if it took place three years ago...

Think Pac stops him, Thurman showed bad recovery skills when he got hurt think Pac might walk through him cant believe I ever thought id say that Thurman was legit once upon a time

I think too many are being duped into thinking Thurman is passed it.

Thurman by decision.
Well he did nearly get stopped by Josesito Lopez, I cant see anyone of the other top WW's having a long lay off then nearly getting stopped by Lopez, Thurman's chin was shocking

Yeah that bit is true.

But each fighter is unique. Some are affected by by lay-offs more than others. Yet those very same guys -- combined with their physical attributes, style, etc -- can also somehow recover from a lay-off from just one fight. It's hard to measure.

I'm going to take a guess and say Thurman has shaked off enough of the rust, to take advantage of an aged Pacquiao - who probably looked better than he normally is due to an uninspired Broner.

So the fights are 2 weeks apart so if Thurman wins we will definitely get Spence vs Thurman next, if Pac wins I think he will go for Danny next, War Keith!

If Pacquiao decisions Thurman be great to see him go up against Spence - hopefully numbers be there make it a no brainer for Pacquiao.

Cant wait this is going to be explosive, Bob Arum should try and make Crawford vs Danny Garcia whilst everyone else is busy or Crawford is just going to get left out, never seen Arum trying to make a super fight so much he knows he has no more opponents for Crawford

Equally too many being duped into thinking Pacquiao is passed it.
Perhaps. But with Manny we’ve seen a steady decline for a number of years - even involving a loss (albeit a robbery) to someone he would normally have stood on his head.

The evidence for Thurman’s decline rests only on one bad fight. One which could largely be due to ring rust.

I guess we’ll see on fight night. Hope Pac wins.

I got Pacquiao here. Thurman didn't look great last time out and nearly got stopped. Pac has slipped but he's still a calibre fighter.
