Cannot stand kodi. Everything is just clunky and over complicated. Can't be arsed constantly messing round with repos and searching through thousands of dead links
‘Yeah, it’s dead for sure. Anyway, why would anyone not pay a couple of dollars a week to get every movies, sports and entertainment channels?

It works perfectly but the interface is poor, especially when compared to others.

Can it be setup to be a little more ‘accessible’, user friendlier or even a bit ‘prettier’??
Unfortunately not. the interface is rubbish.
There is an app called "Smart STB" which has a better interface but I think you have to pay a couple of quid a month for it

Yeah, I did ask them if I could use that one but they insisted on Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters.

Agreed SIPTV interface is fucking awful.

Its not really up to them. You can manipulate the link to suit almost every software. Ive used kodi, smart iptv, smart stb, perfect player gse iptv, all with the same link

Edit : actually just remembered for smart stb you do need your supplier to sort that out for you. If you ever want a new supplier, dm me. My guys quality and has thousands of movies and tv shows on demand

I'm reluctantly and slowly heading towards that conclusion myself. Although I loathe paying for anything I haven't even tried to use Kodi since I don't know when. When I first put it on my Firestick it was great. Loads of films and TV stuff available but it got too frustrating to bother with.

As @sosolid4u09 says, too many dead links and I'd add a number started wanting validation codes so I'd have to get my phone involved as well to get devices paired or some such fucking shit. Couple that with ISPs blocking some of the sites - quite a few, in fact - and itbecame a total ballache.

I'll have to investigate this IPTV business. If there is something that is trustworthy, reliable and content-heavy then I'll be very interested but I wouldn't be looking at something too expensive because I don't actually watch much TV. Or maybe I would if I had access to better content.

Doubtless I'll have loads of questions as I currently know fuck-all about the whole thing.

As you know, I was a big Kodi supporter but in the end I thought ‘fuck this bullshit’ and found an IPTV provider. That was a year ago now and while the service was good, my wifi was a bit sketch. This resulted in a bit of buffering at the wrong moments but I bought a set of home plugs and all came good. I’ve since been using the 5GHz wifi network and it works even better than the homeplugs - my wiring must be a bit shit.

Anyways, the IPTV provider I currently use costs 70 quid a year; I bought two subs for 100....one for the media room, one for the lounge, so no logging out/in all the time and I can watch my shit and she can watch hers. So, if two people went shares on the 100 quid double sub, that’s a quid a week for every channel and PPV and some on demand movies, series and recent PPVs. Bargain. Just got to have decent internet.

Yeah, they need to provide an m3 playlist and XML file. It’s not quite as straightforward as suggested, unless you use IPtV Smarters, that relies on a simple login.

I’ve just signed up to a 12 month subscription but thanks for the offer :good

I installed Plex on my main PC ages ago but never even looked at it.

I have a few HDDs full of films, series, documentaries, etc and I usually just plug them into whatever TV I am watching at the time. So, I recently had a brainwave and thought 'what the fuck is that Plex all about'...or similar. Anyway, last night I fired it up and installed it on all the TV around the house and plugged my main HDD into my main PC........fucking epic. Why the fuck didn't I do this earlier?

My question is, to all you gadget-mad peoples, is it worth paying for a Plex Pass; it costs $169AUD for a lifetime sub? If so, what does it offer?
Anyone at all using Plex? It's fucking awesome.....even the free version. If you have an HDD full of videos and a fixed PC, I'd suggest using it.
It downloads covers and metadata for movies and series. You can even group collections, such as MCU, DCEU, Star Wars, etc.

I've played with it, definitely a great piece of software. I just wish our internet connection was faster in Aus.

Ditched kodi its shite.

Club tv app now before that it was IView

If anyone wants a unbiased review of club tv just drop us a pm I will tell u the good bad and shocking.

I like club tv app Dazn Sky Sports BT Premier La Liga Celtic TV Rangers TV WWE Bein NBC Sports Fox Sports EPL extra Eleven sports.

The OD section is pretty average. Some of the movies are good but u can have the latest film which has chinese subtitles which u cant turn off.

The only problem I did have with PPV there was bit of buffering the internet was fine as have fast internet. Was told soon as the ppv starts clear cache data on the app

Think my last 12 month subscription was £70

When the next big ppv is on Ill ask the guy for a 1month code he gave me one for a friend when AJ was boxing Pulev. And ill post it on lcb.

Sky I didnt mind paying but BT were taking the piss

After a couple of years of great viewing time to say adios to club tv. Nothing wrong with the quality only problem is they don't do the app for newer tablets.

Signed up for Eternal IPTV. Live TV is pretty good on par with club tv interface is better I would say.

On demand is poor though club tv loads better in that department.

See how Eternal goes watched 2 us boxing shows last night and quality was great. The OD they can improve on
