Okolie vs Jezewski

For Interim or world title

I know nothing about him 6th best cruiserweight in Poland. Never boxed outside his homeland thats all from boxrec

19 wins 9 ko 1 nc.
Guy was not even ranked in the WBO top 15 a week ago.

Might as well just hand Okolie the title. Eddie Hearn the two tone hypocrite used go on IFL TV and criticise this kind of nonsense and how it was ruining boxing.

Jezewski has an absolute glass chin. Crap fight, but I guess that it was hard to find a late replacement. Fight never ever should be a world title fight. Not even for some crappy iterim title.

Cieślak was probably a better fight. Tough Polish fighters.

If I'm honest, I felt Glowacki had the tools to hurt Okolie. Southpaw counter right hook over Okolie's jab and general predictability would really test his chin. Okolie literally slugs it behind the jab. Glowacki is actually at his most dangerous in the midrange and has quick hands. I really don't think it's a good fit for a boiled down predictable slugger. Okolie can be very untidy technically at times. His leverage and boiled down frame allow him to bully and bang, but see Glowacki as a bad match up. Maybe even the worst possible at 200. Okolie is "too boiled" down for 200 imo. He struggles to get his shots off properly and can be clumsy, especially with his balance. Tischenko is authentically 200lbs, I reckon Okolie is probably 220-225 walking around. Similar to Riakporhe.

Eddie is banking on those road miles taking their tole. I'd like to see Glowacki vs Okolie in 2021 still.
