Boxing capital of the world though. I don't think you'd turn down a trip to that place if it meant you could fly through a few gyms producing World champions.

I wouldn't knock it back.
Each to their own but no thanks. Of course, your chances of getting abducted or murdered are slim but people do, and fairly often.

The world is a dangerous place and slim threats of violence shouldn’t make you a hermit, but I choose my holiday destinations wisely!

Absolutely zero interest in visiting that ‘shithole country’.

#buildthatwall
See I do because of the food and women but I'm hesitant because of how the country is essentailly controlled by extremely violent cartels who have next to no humanity. I'm paranoid that if I go to Acapulco, I'd be mistaken for a rich yank and be kidnapped or something.

It's allot like Colombia, a seemingly great place that is far too dangerous.

Yeh I’d stay the fuck away from Acapulco.

Mexico City and Tulum are beautiful, and safe when I was there, not sure about the rest of the country. I'd say northern Mexico is a no go zone.

That's where the drug trade is concentrated, so cartels are fighting over territory.
I understood exactly how Mexico was the first time I visited and we were together in a group, walking along the nice streets, only to go about a block passed where the tourists go and all of the sudden the roads narrowed, the sidewalks ended and we were transported to this place that seemed to be out of a apocalyptic novel.

NYC was like that in the 70s and 80s too - "good block - bad block" shit used to get real, fast

This will never change. Especially when their daddy (CIA) is dangling the puppet strings. The USA is carving up this shithole country on a level beyond what the Brits dis to South America. its only going to get worse I'm afraid.
