Mexico City has a very sinister, evil and corrupt underbelly to it. Make no mistake, tread carefully here. I seem to attract victims from out of country that need help and have seen and heard some shit.

what did british do to south america?
Put puppet governments in place to destabilize them from the top of my head. I'll be happy to eat crow if I am wrong but I have come across videos and articles that state Benito Juarez and a couple of other Mexican presidents were trained CIA moles.

I could be very mistaken . Seems it's been all of Uncle Sam's doing. My apologies to my Brit friends.

No worries, mate. What the US is doing falls nothing short of evil as well. I'll dig up the info but I believe one of the Nazis in Operation Paper Clip had a hand in killing Che Guevara and starting up the drug trade in Bolivia(?) After all...Nazi Germany was the owner/supplier of 85% of cocaine worldwide back in the 30's. I'll look for that info shortly.

This platform was part and parcel of a broader campaign built upon anti-establishment rhetoric. At that time, the establishment was the Weimar Republic, the unofficial name that Hitler had coined for the German regime that ruled between 1919 and 1933 and that had grown economically dependent on pharmaceuticals — specifically cocaine and heroin.

To give you an idea of this dependency’s scale, the year before the victors of World War I compelled the republic to sign the treaty of the International Opium Convention in 1929, Berlin alone produced 200 tons of opiates.
In fact, Germany was responsible for 40 percent of global morphine production between 1925 and 1930 (cocaine was a similar story), according to Ohler. All in all, with their economy largely wrecked by World War I, the Weimar Republic had become the world’s drug dealer.

interesting article, i knew lots of the top nazi's were drugged up and about the meth given to soldiers but not about the civilian addiction or the economics of it all.

Oh yeah. That whole country was hopped up and ready for war. From house wives to (Now very amplified) already psychotic killers that eventually formed part of their Special Forces and SS death squads.

I don't know man, I love fish, but it's hard to beat heading to a birrieria and getting some goat tacos. Or Al Pastor tacos for a buck on wednesdays.
They're all so so good! :happy

If you get a chance check out that taco documentary "The Taco Chronicles" they have on Netflix. They travel all around Mexico trying all different types of tacos.
