Kudos to Garcia. He just did what Linares and Lomachenko couldn't do. A very good name on his resume too. Got to give it to him, he is talented. If he continues to stay in Canelo's camp and learn from him and Eddy Reynoso, he'll be in quality hands.

Really good scrap. Didn’t agree with the commentary at all. I thought Garcia was mainly hitting gloves & I had Campbell winning rounds 3 & 4 & up by a point going into round 7, not that it mattered.

It’s a difficult one for Garcia because he’s still pretty raw but he’s a huge 135 fighter & I can’t see him having long left at this weight given his age so he can either go for it now & probably lose or wait til he’s ready but the shot might have to come at 140 & he’ll probably be up against Taylor, Prograis & Lopez which I don’t see ending well for him.

What about Garcia vs Kovalev? I think that is a good fight to make with Kovalev coming off a loss it would be a good win if he can get past Garcia...i’m not sure he can though.

Very impressed by Garcia, he has the mentality and the athleticism of a champion. Campbell simply outboxed him at times, but Garcia has that composure and confidence of a Canelo to work through.

I think Garcia handles Tank fairly easily (people remember that knockout against Santa Cruz but forget him getting his head snapped back constantly by that 126 pound fighter, and also his performance against Gamboa), I think he beats Teo (who is better than I thought he was, but still ridiculously overrated since the Loma fight - Teo was the only fighter hurt in that contest and Garcia is far bigger and more powerful than Loma), I think he should probably avoid the Haney fight (that’s 50/50 and I think a pure boxer is what the inexperienced Garcia needs to avoid at this stage), he should certainly avoid Loma (and will since he doesn’t have anything really to offer other than making Garcia look bad).

Why would Garcia fight Kovalev when he can fight Anthony Joshua?! Common sense...

Great fight and I'm looking forward to the entertaining fights, win or lose, Ryan will give us in the future.
Really hoped for a Luke win but he's got nothing to be ashamed of and can walk away from the fight and career with his head held up high.

U say Garcia hitting gloves have u seen Luke face name a fight he has been marked up like that. He turned his back ffs went back to to corner and Shane had to put water down his shorts. Yes Garcia is wild sometimes but he has power that when he does land shit hits the fan.

Garcia vs Haney
Loma vs Lopez
Campbell vs Tank

Nothing against Linares his best days well behind him wouldn't be surprised if he faced Tank.

Its a tough one for Luke big money fights Linares Loma Garcia where does he go.

Kambosos Commey

IMO Luke clearly has his best days behind him as well. The first round or so I thought he looked quite off and uncoordinated. Definitely a lesser Luke than the one that boxed Lomachenko.

Campbell will struggle to get any top tier guy now. Maybe he could fight Tennyson in Hull as a farewell?

Yea 33 years old Luke surely on his last couple of fights. I will never criticise him though won Olympic gold u then look at his pro record and the opposition is mainly high calibre. He lost his father he boxed the best lived the life went to the US only thing missing is a world title. Had covid still took the fight last night against a hard hitter. Maybe if he had stayed with 1 trainer things could be different. Great career though made quite a few £ only seems like yesterday we watching him in the Olympics and turning over.
