So did Bobby Dassey remove Steve's blood from the trailer and plant it in the car, with rubber gloves, a petri dish and one of those syringe things?

Kathleen's case relies on this happening. You've got to think, she is the best in the game, she has went through this with a fine tooth comb and there has to be someone out there that did it, if anyone was going to find out it was her. Yet it doesn't look like it, the part about Bobby Dassey undermines her full story for me. There's only a handful of people that could have done it, and we know every one of them, if she can't find anything at all that sticks then that starts to tip the scale towards guilty for me.

Not in a legal sense as I still think there should be a retrial, but in terms of who did it, Avery is looking more and more likely.
The argument is that it was Bobby who killed her and that because the police had an issue with Avery, they suspected him of a crime near his home and planted evidence to make him look guilty. The thing about the dried flakes of blood is a direct accusation that the police planted evidence, not that it was Bobby who planted anything.

Zellner has accused Bobby of doing it.

Incorrect.

Zelner has layed out exactly how she thinks it happened on Twitter, she thinks Bobby planted the blood and nothing else matches her timeline.

I am pretty sure he's innocent. I was not sure after the first season, but absolutely nothing fits in the official line. The entire story is laughable. He stabbed her, cut her throat and then dragged her from the bedroom, but not a SINGLE piece of DNA of hers was found anywhere in the house, bar the car key. Aside from the bullshit, coerced confession from Dassey, you then have the ludicrous idea that again..no DNA in the garage. After she was shot in the fucking head. Oh, but there is trace DNA on the bullet, but no bone fragments, but plenty of wood fragments.

Then we have suppressed evidence of multiple kinds. Clear corrupt policing, that involves flat out lying, and obvious planting of evidence (the key). Apparently, Avery is such a master of cover ups, that he managed to erase all DNA in the house and garage, but then thought he'd just burn the body out front and leave the bones there. Oh, but not before he moved a shovel full of bone fragments miles away, but made sure to leave the rest at his place. And nobody saw those bones the first few times...oh and the coroner was barred from attending.

It's as corrupt as fuck, and that's before we get to them finding rape and murder porn on Bobby's computer, child porn and hundreds of images of dead women, decapitated heads etc. Nothing to see here obviously. Most women killed are killed by an ex or current partner...but that guy was not so much as interviewed...oh, but he was allowed access to her house and the crime scene.

And that's after him and the flat mate didn't alert anyone for 3 days. But he got tons of calls just before lights were seen on the Avery property.

No cut marks on the bones according to prosecution...only...there were. Fire experts say the pit shows no signs of human remains being burnt there. The blood experts say it makes no sense. You have blood flakes, but no stains on the car carpet...laughable again. Witnesses who attest to seeing the car elsewhere and telling a cop. Phone records showing her movements that contradict the prosecution. Cadaver dogs that support the defence, but not the the prosecution...like AT ALL.

It's a total stitch up. Maybe he did it...but if he did, he 100% did not do it as the prosecution says, and the evidence was planted.

Loads of shockers as you mention but the way the coroner was treated is unbelievable.Totally ran things the way they wanted.

Yeah, that absolutely sums up the flagrant corruption. The system is so fucked in how much it looks to back up initial judgements. How that Dassey confession has been deemed okay by a majority of that Seventh Circuit panel of judges is completely beyond me.

Correct.
The whole sorry saga leaves a sour taste, and i find it hard to believe that folk are so set on Avery being guilty that they fail to grasp that in reality there are still possibly 2 murderers free.
The whole prejudice has fucked up the big picture from the very start.

How anyone can watch the 1st season and still think they're guilty is beyond me.
If you then watched the 2nd season and still think they're guilty? Speechless..
