^ yes, 11th round stoppage in a great fight and my bet was looking reasonably good for 7 rounds until the disastrous 8th, barrios even after that looked good and was competitive in rounds 9 and 10.

I doubt we see tank at 140 again, hopefully he can be matched with the big names at 135 but i expect we won't for at least the next two fights.

Davis is a freak of nature.
I wish he was able to really dedicate himself and fight in the right weightclass. He always looks so fat, especially now.
Is he going back down now?

Yordenis Ugas(5'9) or Vergil Ortiz jr(5'10)a step too far at Welterweight?
Does Davis make a play for Pacquiao(5'5) at SLW in the not too distant future?

This is how long it took me to get my hands on the fight, just finished watching it this moment but what a great fight I don't know how the whole card went but those in attendance got their money's worth on the main event alone. What I needed to know was could he take the shots from Barrios, he's answered that now so I see no reason for him to drop back down, he dropped Barrios twice in the eighth and more impressively did so with a shot from each hand so he's still a problem even up here.

Davis vs Prograis at 140 now on my wishlist for 2021

Imagine Davis hooking up with Pedro Diaz or Loma's dad. Holy shit!

Just to add, official scores at the time of the stoppage 96-92 (x2) and 97-91 for Davis so the fix was well and truly in, I'm pleased for Davis that he won inside the distance because taking it by those margins after 12 would have been a problem and he would have likely had to rematch Barrios to settle the fans down. Barrios gave a valiant effort and for me was cruising before the first knockdown, he lost but he also won.

I mean if/when he's in tip top shape he's 1 or 2 divisions lower whether he wants it or not?

It hurts seeing him waste his talent with his current team - will never reach his full potential.
