Right decision to call it a day tough, durable fighter and always had those career defining fights away from home where we all know you don't get any favours.

Good fighter, solid contender. I don't think I gave him any of the 'controversial' decisions he thinks he deserved, but he was a good top 10 middleweight in a competitive era

He’s a nice enough bloke, I’ve got a bit sick of his fans whinging about decisions & he’ll never be a favourite of mine to watch but I wish him well.

Thought he lost 116-112 against Sturm & that he lost against Abraham too. Did think he was stitched up in Argentina against Martinez, should’ve won that for me & the second knockdown was incorrectly not given

He's just posted a video where he said he's gonna decide over Christmas.

Nothing decided.

He's still saying he won though. Somebody needs to sit down with him and go through the fight analysing the rounds. It may do him a favour moving forward. I mean that sincerely rather than facetiously.

Read his book the other month it’s a decent read he was into all sorts of trouble as a youngster and turned his life around so fair play to him

I thought his reaction to Billy Joe offering him a straightener was classic as well, basically telling him he’s embarrassing and to grow up

I didn’t see the Ndam fight but I’m guessing Martin just did the bare minimum as usual and expected the decision. I thought he was lucky to get the nod over Rosado as well, highlights for me were the Martinez and GGG fights. Solid career, good guy wish him all the best.
