@chrisrobwill

Yes, includes us (irish-boxing.com) even though we write solely about boxing, were based in N.Ireland for years, and for some fighters are the only outlet who have ever spoken to them
Fucking hell. Kev Byrne writes for the S*n so there’s that but he knows boxing and has covered Frampton’s career for years.

It’ll be interesting to see how much mainstream media coverage this ban gets. Harry Mullan would have been all over it in his day.

Can anyone remember this @ or is the account completely gone?
It was a common name and a load of numbers - was intriguing enough but no smoking guns. Was proper rambling but knew enough info and was dropping names that made sense to someone that can google them and nosey the echo and irish papers stories about all the lads.

Was mainly gossip being dropped about shagging, naming shooters and threats made - as well as some other info in the public domain about past crimes.

Cheers. Would like to see it if anyone can find it but looks like it might have gone.

Simply outrageous. Banning the press never ends well. Football clubs periodically do t over some perceived injustice.

It’s a shame to see Wazza and Frampton towing the line on this. Hope it’s picked up and run with by British media and that this itself shines a link on the funding streams and ownership structure of MTK.

follow him mate
Yeah I managed to follow this morning. Had a read. Seems like insane ramblings but does seem to have a fair amount of truth based on the info out there. Just delivered in an insane, poorly spelt, grammatically awful way.

Whats the name of the thing where you believe the mainstream media until they talk about something you actually have a knowledge of and then they talk bollocks but you still presume everything else is accurate.

Now don't know how sensationalised that is, money wise I was under the impression MTK/MGM has been nothing but perfect for fighters

The MTK rebrand was pretty much due to MGM casino doing a cease or desist on them wasn't it, with them getting their attention when Conlan broke on the US scene.

Yep, wouldn’t have clicked the article if I’d known it was The S*n, and I’d say there’s a few elements of truth there (this author wrote a book on the Kinahan’s so he will have sources) but I’m pretty sure it’s mostly bollocks. It hasn’t even been properly transcribed in a few places.

It’s correct about some boxers asking people privately to put out pro-MTK stuff and use the no comment logo etc.

MTK have contacted a significant number of writers about doing freelance stuff for them. Read into that what you will.

I don’t know of any boxer to have complained about MTK.

i mean the fact is these guys are heavy as fuck and they are not into this because they are massive sports fans.
I really think Daniel Kinahan is a massive boxing fan and this is as much a vanity project for him, its armchair theorizing but he'll have lost a fortune on this so far and not much sign of making it back

I cant imagine any promotional outfit not paying their pros on time and what was promised when they signed up.
Likewise I can't believe any promotional company would make it difficult for a boxer to leave and fight for another outfit.......
Oh. Hang on a minute......

Exactly this, there is much lower profile ways to use illicit funds. This was a hobby and vanity project; he was all over twitter about it before his account was deleted.

3 people shot in Katie Taylors fathers boxing club in Bray this morning. Supposedly Taylors father is critical and one dead . Your man John Smith was saying on twitter a while ago he was selling Coke. Crazy.
