I cant join in the RBR (gotta get up early) but will record the fight and watch tomorrow afternoon...

Cant wait to see how Loma deals with the Gallagher masterplan, not even the great Hi-Tech will be able to break that enigma. Once Crolla has bored Loma, and the crowd, with his 8 round defensive masterclass it'll be time to go to work and take over. Get ready to add this fight to the 'tide turning fights' thread.

Enjoy boys.

I'd love to join you and watch live but family life prohibits it.

Cant see past a Loma stoppage. Probably before the end of round 8.

Loma is a joy to watch so I'm not even gonna pretend I'm supporting the Brit.

Have fun, I'll catch up in the morning.

Alimkhanully jab is working well, but his corner want him to throw more to the body. He hasn't stopped many since turning pro, although he's won all of them well enough.

I feel it has been an impressive performance. Although as you say, his lack of pop might prove to be an issue as he steps up.

One thing that irked me. I was watching the build up on ESPN. I was absolutely furious watching it. The whole time they were showing Lomachenko training. He was doing crazy stuff like holding his breath for 4 minutes and killing himself in the gym. They show Crolla playing around with his family. It was like Lomachenko was the fucking challenger. By the way, Lomachenko looked like he had an HGH gut in the weigh in. That gut has been getting more and more distended.

I can't believe Alvarado finally got a reasonable fight. Dude seemed to have gotten the shit beat out of him as expected, though. I hope he stays away from this sport now.
