You know she has daughters to Ray Davies and Jim Kerr (who she left Davies for) don't you mate?
She also did an album a few years ago with a young musician she was shagging(forget the name but you'd get it easy on Google)
But she'd be a cold fucker! The type you could develop feelings for and then she'd come up and tell you she's just going up to her room to fuck the brains out of some guy she's got on her arm.
And then accuse you of being a bitch for being unhappy about it.
I still would do that 79-82 version if I could get a night or three with her though.I'd just make sure I left my feelings at home.
I knew she was with Ray Davies for a long time but wasn't aware of her being with Jim Kerr. I remember she did a couple of songs in the mid-to-late 80s with UB40 too (I Got You Babe and Breakfast in Bed) so no doubt she worked her way through all the swinging dicks in that crew too!

What a starfucker, covering all her bases, from the lead singer of one of the best 60s mod bands through to various members of the UK punk explosion and then the second wave of ska :-(

When I was MIA for a couple weeks back in South Dakota to handle all of my dad's funeral arrangements and shit I ended up taking the rental for a drive and started smoking sativa, just reminiscing and pondering my life for miles and miles out of town through the country side... was predominantly listening to Fleetwood Mac. Music is definitely made for cruising. The nostalgia was almost a little bit too much. Reminded me of road trips we used to take without really a care in the world of where we ended up. I fucking miss that guy bad.

How can you not like this? :-(

If I was stupid enough to get into a discussion about SPM tonight (I'm not as I can't be fucking arsed) I could tell you how there's pretty much no-one who wrote words as good as he did.

The Smiths had a very short career (four years) but they were pretty much flawless.

Morrissey's solo career was ace. Vauxhall & I was/is untouchable, every other album was spot-on other than Maladjusted.

If you want to look at Steven's words - aside from listening to his music - read Simon Goddard's stuff Songs that Saved Your Life, Mozipedia.

People will always call Morrissey a cunt because he told truths, people don't like that. A lot of his words (both spoken and music) were misunderstood because people were too thick to work out what they were all about. A good example is The National Front Disco from Your Arsenal album. Everything was taken out of context there on that song. It was also nice when all the Madness fans threw a load of bottles at Morrissey at Finsbury Park when he played said song there as they were simply too fucking stupid to understand the words he wrote/sung.

As it stands, to be brutally honest, most Madness fans are too fucking stupid, more racist, than any Smiths/Morrissey fellas/lassies.

Morrissey in London was the second best show/concert I ever went to. I trust you know which band bettered him, but they (RAMONES) were a different band to The Smiths and Morrissey, so it's not comparable really.

I've seen a fucking shitload of bands live, some who have sold millions of albums in a heartbeat, played and sold out stadiums worldwide.

There was only ever one band that were better than Morrissey.

1-2-3-4.

I’ve seen him 4 times, the best of which was at the Apollo in 2009. He’s much more suited to a venue like that than the O2 or MEN, although he was great there it couldn’t compare to a smaller venue.
