I'm really looking forward to see how Gassiev will do at heavyweight. Fights against Whyte, Chisora, Takam, Hunter would be great to see -- hopefully at least one of those gets made in the next 12 months.
Id love to see Gassiev against someone durable like Chisora or Hunter, im thinking Gassiev blasts out anyone who doesnt have a big height and reach advantage, think he would take out Whyte too Gassiev is solid

Charles Martin made Dawejko quit, the man who walks this Earth like a god is so underrated. Dawejko should have a better record than he does, he's big, pretty fast and explosive with power, yet his record is modest

I've heard the guy doesn't take his training seriously whatsoever. A bit more like a sparring partner than fighter. I've heard this long ass time ago when he was supposed to fight Takam. Without going to BoxRec, I don't know if that ever came to be.

He definitely is a lot better than his record indicates, though.

Saw a few of his fights on KOtv weekly or whatever it was called, he's definately skilled and can put his shots together, throws bombs too what I saw of him. Wasted potential then, he looked the goods when he put it all together, there is the infamous 'sparring partner mentality' and we know a few of those guys. Think if this guy takes it seriously he has potential, or too late maybe?

I"d say Kuzmin was a contender, and he punked Kuzmin. I've not seen anyone who thinks Kuzmin won that fight. It was very controversial. I heard it was boring as shit, though.

Not too sure if he'll ever be good enough to win a title, but I think he can get the odd upset. Probably someone like Miller or Kownacki.

It'd be ridiculous if he upsets Gassiev, but I can't see it happening. As I said, if Gassiev stops him, I'd say he'll become a legit threat in the division. +

I dunno.

Gassiev will be exciting at HW, if nothing else, since he's so tough and relentlessly aggressive. - But he's not exactly a skilled fighter.
His 76" reach will demand serious footwork and tactics, to survive against the huge heavies, and I don't see that happening.

Of course, he's still surprisingly young, so maybe with the right training...
. - But he'd better get away from Abel Sanchez.
