Grey, windy, and feels like it's going to rain here.

I actually like this weather though. It's warm enough for shorts, (if you're tough), but cool and refreshing enough to be active. The air also feels full of promise.
Shorts should be worn all year round to be fair (he says, wearing a pair of jeans at the moment).

I dunno about you Bob, but I prefer Autumn (crispy) and Winter (crispier/biting) to Summer. I couldn't live anywhere hot. Coatbridge sounds fine.

I'm an autumn man myself. Or spring. I don't mind a bit of sun, but don't like anything too hot for too long.

Been to a lot of hot places and I couldn't live there long term, but I doubt they would fancy a wet Wednesday night in Glasgow either.

I suppose living with hot weather in that climate and certain gorgeous surroundings, it's like steak and corned beef. Once you've had the steak you can't go back to corned beef.

What puts me off about Australian and NZ women (I'm off on a tangent for a while) is that they don't strike me as being good in the sack. They seem to me like they wouldn't be game for dirty shit. Having never been to either place I could be wrong, it's just an impression I get. Strange. Dannii Minogue is an exception. She'd be a demon between the sheets.
You could not be more wrong.

40+mph winds today and absolutely pishing down this morning.

Welcome to a Scottish summer.

To be fair though since March we have had superb weather and today was the most rain for a long time and badly needed for crops.

8:15 a.m. here in New Orleans and it is 82 degrees F with humidity levels at 87% for a feels like temperature of 91 F.

It is getting to the low 90's today. Summer has arrived and will not leave until early October, if we're lucky.

That's what I couldn't deal with.

It's 72 here in England and it's 14:22. There's a breeze outside, nearly lost my baseball cap this morning when going out to buy milk. It won't get hot again here until Monday according to the forecast. NO must be hell.

The humidity is horrible. I always struggle to sleep at night with humidity. Last night I got 4 hours sleep thereabouts.

bleah :sad

81f here with 77% humidity right now.................

feels like a sauna
Yep, sauna is right. I can actually feel the stickiness of the air even in the early morning hours. It feels like it does when you walk into a greenhouse in the summer, not long after they watered the plants and the air is heavy with moisture.

A few years back I parked my motorcycle on a blacktop street and it damn near fell over before I saw what was going on. The kickstand was sinking into the blacktop enough so that the bike was leaning at a precarious angle. I found a small scrap of plywood and had to put that down on the street under my kickstand.

I now carry a round metal plate used to cover an electrical junction box in my saddlebag to use on hot days.

OH

MY

GOD

My fair skin and blonde hair couldn't cope with that shit. I'd look lobster coloured all summer. I guess (and it's no real mercy) you get extremes. When it rains it really really rains down your way I'd imagine.
