No opposing the EU, so once we're out we can de-regulate and start off a race to the bottom, where the workers get fucked and big business can squeeze even more out of the workers, is exactly what people like Farage & Mogg (you're hero) & Johnson want, it's got fuck all to do with freedom & all that shit.

The EU was founded one the 1st November 1993. In the 26 years since I have completely missed all this regulation which has prevented this ‘race to the bottom’, instead I have seen zero hours contracts and internal EU migration which has lowered the wages of the low skilled.

Every single major workers rights this country has had was fought for and won by workers in the years preceding 1993.

But somehow you think you can regurgitate this garbage that we need to be in the EU as it will protect us from the evil Tories. That is called paternalism.

Rees Mogg is a democrat and I am on the side of democrats. Hero? Well he is hardly John Lilburne.

Yep I can regurgitate this as the 0 hour contracts have really taken off in the last 10 years, something that the Tory government could've legislated against...but why would they, when it's in their interests to keep the lower earners earning less.

And those hard fought victories for the works will be rolled back by ther tories the minute they can.

There is a minimum wage in the UK, if employers are paying foreign workers less than that then they are breaking the law. That's a not an EU matter, it's a criminal matter. Also the minimum wage is shit, and needs to be higher, but while ever the tories are in power they'll want wages as low as possible so millions of people in full time employment have to claim benefits because their wages are so shit it means they can't make ends meet. Which is what the tories want, the lowest possible wages, ideally scrapping the minimum wage in order for their friends to maximise their profits. Again, not an EU problem.

All in all, same old tired bullshit tory argument..."It's the evil EU that's cutting the NHS to shreds, cutting disablility so thousands of disabled people can no longer make ends meet. We're your friends"

Bollocks.

Minimum wage is shit and yet it’s the one of the highest in the OECD. Recently the EU criticised a proposal to increase the minimum wage in an EU country as a ‘threat to its competitiveness’.
You then want a rant about the Tories which is irrelevant and without evidence.

Above you claim the Tories will roll back workers rights once out of the EU which again shows that you believe the EU to be a paterna figure which will protect us from the Tories.

Please specifically state when the EU has ever protected us when the Tories reduced trade union rights such as under the Cameron government?

The Eu has never been on the side of the worker, you are deluded.

Besides, I'm surprised it took as long as it did to bring immigration up. That's the only things the righties care about.
On the contrary. Freedom of movement of labour is far right wing libertarian ideology.

It is left wing to limit the supply of labour.

Hes certainly taken down "the left" there.

Unless its your definition of left and right in which case hes taken down the right, either way I think we can all agree this is all as simple as 2 opposing viewpoints that everyone can be defined by.

I swear some people actually don’t understand the difference between left and right wing economics.

Here listen to Bernie
