Former MMA fighter Clay Collard ( who looks absolutely terrible, one of the worst stylists I've seen in a long time) has just taken the scalp of another unbeaten "prospect" David Kaminsky. I don't get it? The guy has beaten Quashawn Toler (9-0-0, ), Rayond Guajardo (6-0-0) ans now David kaminsky (6-0-0), yet he looks absolutely hopeless?? How much are young "prospects" getting bummed up nowadays? And what standard of opposition are they getting in their early fights, when bums like Collard can beat 3 fighters with 21 wins and ZERO defeats between them??
Collard can rough them up, don't get me wrong. I just think that some young fighters are getting it too easy early on. A 6-0-0 or 9-0-0 prospect should have enough nous to outsmart a slugger who stands square in front of them with poor technique and no head movement.
Ruiz's record is padded as hell. Flores is fast, has a good jab. And, when he times it right, can throw a mean left hook. Flores only stopped one opponent in has last 11 fights, hence the odds against a stoppage, but I have a feeling he might stop Ruiz. maybe worth a wager at the price.
Flores Jr vs Ruiz (Coming up now) looks like it could be excellent, despite Hands opinion of Ruiz. Sometimes a great opponent brings out the best in a guy. I've seen a few of Ruiz's fights and I think he's very credible. Good defense.
