this fight has to take place in Asia.
Taylor vs. Prograis in Scotland.
Dorticos/Tabiti vs. Briedis/Glowacki in the US.

3 finals all on the same day, would be fantastic...

I mean Smith-Groves ended up in Jeddah, so you can never tell where these WBSS finals will take place -- even if it seems obvious! But I'd be surprised if this fight isn't in Japan.

Yea. Just be fun to see the WBSS put on a 1 day show from 3 continents.
Probably get bored after a few hours but still think it could be an interesting presentation...

Nonito is the most accomplished and experienced opponent Inoue has faced and, even though over the hill, a step-up from the rest of his opponents I guess.
If Inoue is as good as everyone thinks he is then he should beat Nonito handily and in impressive fashion.

Just read an article on boxingscene where Nonito is quoted saying that if the WBSS doesn't schedule their fight soon he'll "move on". What's with the impatience? Especially for such a megafight and top $.

I get his impatience. Remember, they've been struggling with funding, and I think someone almost left because he wasn't paid. I wouldn't mind if he skips WBSS and fights Tete, but yeah, Inoue is a much better fight.

Donaire is too old. They're similar in the sense that they both rely on their athleticism, and Inoue is of course the young buck.

He actually didn't look horrific against his last opponent, and he got a highlight reel KO, IIRC. Damn, I never watched the Donaire/Burnett fight. I probably should watch that at one point... but I've been far too busy this month getting ready for my program.

Jojo has a tight defense, and enough pop to hurt. Russell fight was given away, he was landing and hurting him anytime he threw.

If I had to put money in a dropped stock, it would be him
