Anyone think a prime Donaire would've crushed Tete? I sure do. This version likely loses a wide decision, though. It's amazing that he's still competitive with these guys, but age doesn't wait, especially at the lower weights. I mean he fought close with Jesse Magdaleno.

He relied too much on his hook and didn't develop other weapons to get his opponents respect. He wants to be a puncher-boxer but he's better off as a boxer-puncher. I think Tete would have been floored at some point but eventually outpointed prime Donaire.

Completely fell in love with his hook, his whole game ended up being focused on landing that hook and others fighters read that.

Yeah, Tete has shown vulnerability in the past, and I think prime Donaire would have eventually got to him. But I believe Tete does have the type of style that would give any version of Donaire trouble.
