Love it,

Nice bit of a needle and good to see the domestic guys taking these fights now. A loss isn't the end of the world for either.

I think Fitzgerald will beat Cheeseman just because there seems to be a sense of desperation with Ted now.

He will go into this feeling his career is on the line after he already said he would hang them up if he didn't win his last fight.

Fitzgerald-Cheeseman could be a cracker though I expect Fitzgerald to win. Good to see Fitzy getting into a big fight again after pulling out of the Rose fight.

Any know what the arena is like, looking for good seats but from photos it looks like a low enough arena, would 40/60 pound seats be decent for it?

Ended up getting lower tier 103 , center of the ring. Supposedly 4000 tickets sold already. Dave Allen announced , any names people would like to see ? I know it’s unlikely but Nathan Gorman and him could be a good scrap.

I'm not expecting anyone too decent. If he fights someone around the level of Bracamonte again, I think that'd be a good result.

North of the world
caught a bit of the public workout they were speaking to Ritson.

Ritson mentioned something along the lines of dont be suprised if I take a step back in this fight which I interpreted to mean he wont always be looking to come forward with aggression he will be a bit more cautious and not rush in on every opening.I think we will maybe see a different sort of style from Ritson a bit more movement, circling Davies and using his boxing a bit more.

Robbie Davies for me is the better boxer of the two, maybe not always shown it in all of his fights but high level fights against guys like Joe Hughes who makes you use your boxing for the entire fight and the experience you must take from a fight like that is huge.Davies having dealt with a puncher before in Glenn Foot is another box ticked going into this.Coming back and avenging a defeat against Syrowatka. All experiences that just give Robbie Davies the advantages going into this.Im actually quite suprised William Hill had Lewis Ritson as favourite, not sure about the other bookies ill have to look but for me Davies will win this fight probably on points.

Ted Cheeseman might do the same aswell.I read a few things he said after the past few fights and we might see him try to use more of his boxing than being this guy with a great engine that always goes to war with little defence.I do respect what Cheeseman has been doing he's had no easy fights for well over two years going back seven or eight fights all undefeated fighters one after another. There arent many guys at domestic level that are boxing the level of opponents Ted Cheeseman has been doing with absolutely no soft touches or tune ups in between.

This is an interesting one because you automatically assume Fitzgerald will win this. He's levels above Cheeseman in boxing ability,he punches harder,he's coming into this with huge confidence and Cheeseman is coming off a close fight with Conway but Cheeseman will make Fitzgerald work for 12 rounds and its late in the fight that we will find out how Fitzy is looking because Cheeseman will still be there throwing punches he's got a great engine on him.Cheeseman has a point to prove.

good card really looking forward to it
