So I bought my nephew a gaming pc and it had a free game with it via the AMD Rewards scheme.. Tom Clancys Division 2....hes too young for it so its going to waste at present.

If anybody wants it and can be arsed with the rigmarole of circumventing the AMD rewards scheme they're welcome to it...

I think it's relatively straightforward... I have an authorised AMD Rewards account that has already completed the hardware check....'think it would just be a matter of changing the email and password on that and sending it to you so you can login and download the game via uplay.

I don't do this gaming stuff tho so could be wrong... If anyone wants it or is more clued up than me give me a shout

Is it not locked to your uplay account or are they sending you a key that you then claim through uplay?

My understanding is that the reward key was locked to the graphics card....I've done that bit of authorization and now I just have to link my AMD rewards account to a Uplay account...from where the game can be downloaded.

these are the instructions I got by email this morning...

  1. Log into your AMD REWARDS account, go to My Rewards to complete the activation on Uplay.
  2. Log in or create an Ubisoft Uplay account by clicking “Redeem on Uplay with your Ubisoft account”
  3. After successful log in, click on “Activate on Uplay”
  4. Upon activation completion, open Uplay PC app to play your game.

I'll certainly give it a go.

DICE went from possibly pulling a decent ways ahead of c0d after BF1, to the massive flop that is BFv

I wonder what the fuck Bioware were doing during Anthem's six years of development
garbage story
grindfest
lifeless world
potentially ruining consoles
ME:A which was made by the bioware B team (which no longer exists due to poor sales), sold better & was received better

Bethesda hung themselves with fo76

press F to pay respects to former great devs
How is the story garbage? Be specific.
How is the world anymore lifeless than any loot games released in the last 6 years.
The bricked console thing was proven to be bs. But still a very bad bug that never should have seen release.
The hate for Andromeda was also wildly overstated. It's great crime was that its story wasn't as good as the previous trilogy. Which had some of the best writing in games period. It wasn't the worst written game in history just not as good. From a game play perspective it was the best it's ever been. Considering it's a video game that should count for something shouldn't it?

Again people are focusing on the wrong shit to be mad about and are just regurgitating what they hear other people say.

Generic stop the bad guys from using powerful item, with awfully written and performed characters. Bioware touted story and consequence
Fort Tarsis is almost like the citadel from ME1, just with shittier interactions and dialogue. The dynamic world promised to be had in free play isn't there, good luck finding the "world events", which you need for the dreaded Tomb missions to continue the story :think
It gets even the loot part bad, with terrible drop rates & rolls (fixed & then unfixed twice), the inability to switch gear unless you're at base
The long & frequent loading screens
Bad UI

A good chunk of the blame for the state of both Anthem & ME:A is apparently due to Bioware's choosing to use the Frostbite engine, massive work needed to be done to make them work for what Bioware wanted to do, though Inquisition turned out pretty decent:think
Probably why secondary characters in Anthem look so terrible

a new shoot n loot challenger has appeared in Division 2

I just stopped in here to say I'm still having a fucking blast in Sea of Thieves. My god the amount of trickery, robbery and backstabbing is more insane now than it's ever been. Can't wait until they release the Arena servers.

Some cunt just clubbed me in the head right off the rip and the next thing I'm in a cage on the ship, can't get out and the fuckin arsehole who clubbed me and put me in there is just stood looking at me.

Turned that shit off and never put it back on again, luckily it was a free download with Game Pass.

I was looking for something new to occupy my time and downloaded Crackdown 3. I've had so much fun with this game so far, it's just so rewarding at all times, every enemy you kill gives you XP, you just seem to move from one task or engagement to the next while you're guy progressively powers up as you play.

It reminded me of just how fun the original Crackdown was over a decade ago now. I never played Crackdown 2 but I'm going to enjoy completing this, reminds me lots of Just Cause 3 but not quite as samey.

LMFAO. Seriously? If stop the bad guys from using the powerful item is a non-starter for you I never wanna hear you praise a video game story again. We've been telling stories on this rock for thousands of years. NOTHING is wholly original, if you think anything else you are sadly mistaken. Even the best stories are generic if you break them down enough, it's all in how it's told. Good Fellas is just another rise and fall of a gangster movie, it's dumb. Fury Road is just another post apocalyptic chase movie, it's dumb. Saving Private Ryan is just another wildly different guys bond during war movie, it's dumb. See how dumb that is?

Technically it's one of the better animated and performed games we've had in a while. The facial expressions are fan-fucking-tastic and they're actually fully animated with hand movements, etc during conversations. The writing I didn't find any worse than any other loot game I've ever played. I'm not expecting Dostoevsky from my action movies and I'm sure as shit not expecting it from my action games. It's a perfectly serviceable story about friendship (the reunion and patching up between the Haluk and Faye), accepting and adapting to what life throws at you (Haluk's arc), the perils of hubris (Owen/Monitor/dominion), and kicking Scar ass. Not the best thing ever written, but outside of some humor that fell flat I thought it was fine.

I'll give you the whole choices and consequences thing, being as there's absolutely none of that involved and have no idea why one earth Bioware pitched it that way when they weren't going to deliver.

As for the world events and the gameplay related issues you brought up, THOSE are the complaints that people should be focusing on. I agree, the game appears to have been created in a vacuum where it's repeating problems games made and fixed years ago. I think it's inexcusable that they appear to have learned nothing from the mistakes made by Destiny and Division 1. Then again, it appears to be that it's an issue in game development in general. I mean fuck, Destiny 2 somehow also managed to take 2 dlcs to get good, you'd figure they'd have learned from Destiny 1 doing the same but they didn't.

Either way, I just started playing The Division 2, I highly doubt the story is going to be a giant issue for me.

Snooker comming out April

Ashes as well cracking 2 games to play when u are working away sitting in hotel for hours
Been a long time since we've had a snooker game. I don't care if the characters are stiff and look like they're from a previous generation; as long as the ball physics are accurate, it should be good.

That game is ruthless as fuck. No other game you ever played is like it. No guide, no layout, no rules, no morals. It's what makes it great.
