Disappointing.
Yea, but not surprising. Honestly sad about e3 this year. I've always wanted to go to e3, and was really considering taking off and going next year. The conference looks to have collapsed, and the model of trade shows like that is about dead. Just much cheaper and easier ways to do it. Too bad.

Stadia will be crazy if you have the internet for it, and will absolutely be the future of gaming. Particularly in highly populated areas.

Heard rave reviews of Keanu appearance.

If Stadia is "the gaming Netflix" can't see it failing.

$130 initial purchase and $10 a month with the ability to play the shit on anything that can handle a chrome browser or a chromecast...that's insane. It's brilliant. It will be the end of the style of gaming I grew up with though. I'll miss the system wars.

This is a middle aged man ffs!
Seven and a half thousand posts deep in this thread, who the fuck are you even talking to?

Fuuuuuuuck, you really are stupid, aren't you. Maybe that would have been a valid (if cliché) criticism 25 years ago. Now games are a bigger industry than Hollywood is, and the average gamer is in their mid-30s. That is a well-known fact for the last decade. Are you trying to clown yourself and come up with more ways to sound like a fucking retard? Or are you genuinely that fucking dumb?

You reckon it'll work? Streaming games? And you won't have to buy the games? I have read fuck all about it, to be honest.

It's netflix streaming, WWE Network, Sling, Playstation Now, and sex robots. Varying in potential of success, and has some obvious arguments against it, but it is the future no matter what any pundits have to say.

The ffvii combat demo put a ton of my fears to rest. Still dont know if you can actually adventure in the game or if you agree pretty much on rails

There was a streaming games service that was kicking around for years, I tried playing Homeland on it years back and it was laggy as fuck, it felt unplayable to me... I'll be interested to see how this performs, if there really is zero input lag... fuck it, I'm all in. Just wish it was a company other than Google at the helm.

I mentioned to @Haggis who was also a big fan of the previous version that it looks too derivative, but to be honest that might not be a bad thing ultimately. Doom was so outrageously good, why change it much at all?
The formula works, the game is just fun from start to finish... that and Cyberpunk are the only two games I'm really interested in that are on the horizon right now.

I've actually been playing not much but old school Doom for a wee while now.
