Its a lot better than 4 for sure, but I know what you mean about it not having the san andreas type feel its more a technical achievement than anything

So annoying theyve never brought out a 'stories' for it because theres so many places on that map that are awesome you dont really do anything on in the main game, will probably never see a single player add on/dlc ever again though as the online just makes so much money. And the online is frustrating AF and just got worse and worse over time the more stuff they added.

Disagree on the radio its awesome. Its britney bitch.

GTA3s radio was classic I guess people just dont like it because it doesnt have as many famous songs on?
They ruined Lazlo in GTA5 aswell. Game was good though

Finished the game. Probably the first big triple A game I've played in years. It was meh. I think I lied that it was better than GTA: IV. I felt pretty much empty as the story progressed. The R* team seemed to have really cut corners in the writing. The missions all felt very same-y. I just didn't feel attachment to any of the three characters with all that switching around.

Franklin would've been the best GTA protagonist since the reboot, but you didn't really get a lot of story with him because of all that fucking switching around. Why even have Trevor if you're barely going to develop him? Michael had a lot of building up, but he was just too generic imo.

The heist thing was an interesting concept, but it was horrifically executed as the team members you chose really made no difference. They were all so damn generic even though they brought back a character from IV.

Maybe I'm getting too old for video games, but I sure as hell didn't like this one. I replayed GTA: III, San Andreas, and Vice City so many fucking times. I tried to 100% both games (never did, but I tried). They were absolute gems. These GTA reboots have all been rather poor. I don't know what magic they're missing. Most likely, the characters just aren't as iconic as the ones in past games. The soundtracks aren't as good anymore. I really don't know.

I mean I remember a lot of characters from all three games: Donald Love, Salvatore, Tenpenny, Catalina, Big Smoke, etc. I don't remember a single NPC from GTA: V. Yeah, Lazlo was completely fucking ruined. Iconic character from past GTA games thrown right in the garbage. I feel like R* is moving forward to making these games advertisements for their online, which practically prints money for them. It allows them to cut corners and still generate ridiculous amounts of profit. I mean they're not even hiring established actors to do the voice over work anymore. Shit, they had fucking Ray Liotta playing Tommy Vercetti, and he fucking killed it! The voice actors in GTA: V talk like they're bored. Like, CJ's voice actor wasn't that great, but he had a ridiculous cast of characters to help.

Anyways, rant is done. I just needed somewhere to talk about this. Man, I feel old as hell that I can't enjoy a GTA game like I used to anymore.

Show dem balls bro
Let me know how it is. I might get it for psvr
That's what I'm going to be playing it on also so I'll be brutally honest on my review. Honestly I tried playing NMS on the PS4 in non-VR mode and I just can't do it with a controller. I'm definitely not a controller guy or a half-assed-partial-1st-person guy. I like full first person, I don't like seeing my body in front of me. With the move motion controllers and full 360 3D VR I imagine it's going to be absolute tits. I really, really hope they release an update that will support the new 3dRudder foot motion controller for the PSVR. If I can be guaranteed that I can use it on at least 10 good games I'll buy it. Been on the fence about it though waiting to see what games will actually support it. Hell, just tell me No Man's Sky and Skyrim will support it and I'm sold.

I loved GTA V, played the shit out of that game and the design and visuals are a work of art... I also really liked Trevor juxtaposed against the other two bland fuckers. I didn't play much of the online mode, people could already snipe you from halfway across the map before I even got started on it.

RDR2 though was on another level, that game is just so beautiful ... the level of detail is unreal, the game has environmental details that you barely even realise is there, like wind for example.

How many of us loved Chrono Trigger? My youtube suggests seemingly weird shit sometimes, but it suggested an hour or so long video of music from the game. That crazy brilliant bastard Mitsuda made himself sick developing the score. Such a long-lasting game though. Way ahead of its time, and very likely ahead of most jrpgs to come out since then.

Red dead 2 pissed me off when i shot some bloke in a bar by accident
Zelda - i just have the expansion pack left and ive nearly done that

so mario on the switch looks like the best option - surprised at the price of the thing tho.
